The hazel eyed man huffed softly, rolling over in his new bed to find his boyfriend next to him, watching him with admiring brown eyes. "Good morning, Brian.." His voice was a bit nasally from his nose being stuffy, the kind of stuffy you get from a really good night's sleep. The brown-eyed man smiled widely, bringing his lips down onto the other man's cheek in repetitive kisses. "How did you sleep?" He giggled softly, pecking Brian's lips once in return for the shower of kisses he received on his cheeks.
"Pretty good.. I woke up before the sun rose, so I watched it rise.. I've never realized how much your skin absolutely glows in fresh sunlight." Brian murmured softly, stroking Zacky's hair away from his face. "You're so perfect.. I've never felt this way about anyone before, Zacky." The hazel-eyed man blushed, looking down at the slightly bunched up sheets with a soft giggle.
"I love you.." Zacky whispered over his giggles.
"And I love you.." Brian smiled, taking Zacky's smooth face into his hands to bring their lips together in a deep, passionate kiss. Their lips wrestled and fought playfully for dominance as their tongues swirled around against each others. The kiss grew deeper and deeper, until finally, Brian pulled away and took in a sharp breath, almost as if he had forgotten to breathe before he kissed Zacky.
"So.. Today's the day.." The hazel-eyed man murmured, scratching at the back of his neck nervously. "A-are you sure you don't want me to keep my job? Blaze quit, so we don't have to worry about him anymore.." He asked, his eyes tinted with anxiety.
"Blaze didn't quit, I got him fired." Brian said quickly. "And yes, if you don't want to dance anymore, you don't have to. I can get you an apprenticeship at my tattoo shop, and we can both be together while we work. If that's what you want, that's what we'll do." He smiled widely, tracing his thumb over Zacky's plump bottom lip.
"W-wait a minute, you got Blaze fired?" Zacky gasped, causing the brown-eyed man to look away, a fake innocent expression playing on his face. "Bri, you didn't have to do that.. I could've dealt with him, honestly."
"No, I did have to do that. He made my baby uncomfortable, so I made him unemployed. Now.." Brian chuckled softly, kissing the bridge of his lover's nose. "How about we get all of your boxes unpacked and then unwind by watching a movie, hm?"
"Sounds good to me." Zacky smiled, giving the brown-eyed man a passionate kiss before he hopped up out of bed and ran into the other room.
"Adorable.." Brian murmured with a chuckle, shaking his head before he, too, got up out of bed and followed Zacky into the other room; he sat next to Zacky on the couch, pulling a box in front of him and opening it. It was official. Zacky was moving in, and his unpacking had begun.

A year and a half later.

Zacky sat up in bed, the sound of murmuring voices in the living room drifting into his ears. He raised a brow in suspicion, carefully peeling the covers off of his legs and then standing up out of bed, trailing over to his bedroom door. He recognized Brian's deep, smooth voice, but he couldn't understand exactly what he was saying through the closed door. He turned the nob and pulled the door backwards, opening it as silently as possible so that maybe he could catch what was being said without exactly being caught.
"Yeah, guys.. I really do love him," Brian's voice murmured. "He's everything I've ever wanted.. Except for one thing.." Zacky's stomach dropped. He didn't know if he wanted to hear this, especially not from Brian.
"What's that, man?" Matt's voice spoke in the silence.
"He's a little eavesdropper that needs to get his cute butt in here." Zacky knew he had been caught. He giggled shyly, stepping around the corner as he gazed at his feet, an ashamed look spreading across his face. When he finally looked up, he saw that Matt, Johnny, Jimmy and Ricki were in the living room, staring at him with beaming grins. "There's my sneaky little monster." Brian cooed, pulling him into his lap and attacking his face with kisses.
"Monster?" Zacky grumbled playfully, folding his arms with an adorable pout. The brown-eyed man couldn't help but chuckle, pressing a loving kiss to his boyfriend's plump lips.
"Well, it's a good kind of monster. Like, the cute kind that just goes, raaaawr!" He tickled Zacky's ribs, earning a few squeals from his smaller boyfriend. Their friends busted out laughing, watching as the hazel-eyed man flailed helplessly under Brian's strong arms.
"You guys are too cute!" Ricki squealed, slapping her hands onto her cheeks.
"Well, Zacky is, I dunno about me." Brian grinned, ruffling his boyfriend's hair before he pulled him closer, Zacky's back pressed against his chest. The hazel-eyed man rolled his eyes, seeming to be content with resting himself back against Brian for now.
"So.. Why is everyone here?" Zacky asked skeptically, and the entire room chuckled; he became a bit frightened, having seen many shows on Investigation Discovery about cults and group murders. "You guys aren't gonna like, sacrifice me to Satan, are you?"
"We thought about it." Johnny teased, earning a playful tap upside the head from Jimmy. The hazel-eyed man giggled softly at this, always having been easily amused by the smallest things. "No, no.. Brian actually called us here, he said he had something important to tell all of us."
"Something important?" Zacky echoed, turning his body a little bit to look Brian in the eyes. "And just why didn't you tell me about this important thing?"
"Becauuuuse," Brian chuckled, booping Zacky on the nose before he placed a gentle kiss on his lips. "It was a surprise for you, silly goose." The hazel-eyed man giggled once more, his cheeks turning slightly red as he draped his arms around Brian's shoulders. "Zacky.." The brown-eyed man murmured softly. "You've made me so happy since we met, and I honestly never thought I'd settle down.. With a man, at that. I was convinced that I was completely straight, but you came along and blasted that theory all to pieces.. And I'm really glad you did." He chuckled, but he continued speaking, his eyes misting up a little bit. "I'm so in love with you, it's insane. You were patient with me, you've never gotten angry at me, you treat me like a damn king.. And now, I'd like to return the favor."
"Brian.." Zacky whispered softly, rubbing his hazel eyes to get rid of any tears. Brian dug around in his pocket for a moment, and suddenly, Zacky's left hand was seized in a strong grip and something cool was slid onto his ring finger.
"Zachary James Baker," The brown-eyed man murmured, pressing his forehead to the other man's. "Will you grace me with the honor of allowing me to be your husband?" The entire room was dead silent. Zacky's heart stopped and raced a million miles an hour at the same time; his mouth felt dry and his eyes were cloudy with tears. Never in a thousand - no, in a million - years did he think Brian would ever propose to him, much less in front of their friends. "Well, say something.." Brian muttered nervously, his brown eyes tinted with anxiety. His voice was enough to shock Zacky out of his frozen state, and once he registered the question, he began nodding furiously.
"Yes, yes! I'll marry you!" He squealed happily, smashing their lips together as the joyful tears began to roll down his cheeks. Brian wiped them away with his thumbs, letting their lips smack together for a few moments before he pulled away. He stared straight into Zacky's eyes, his own brown orbs tinted with all the love and admiration in the world.
"I love you, Zacky.." He whispered softly.
"I love you, too, Brian.." He choked out, smiling happily. He seemed to do that a lot around Brian..
"Let's go out to eat to celebrate! It's on me!" Jimmy hopped up and declared loudly, causing the entire room to erupt into happy cheers.
"Sounds good to me." Brian smiled, and with that, the two men headed to their bedroom, ready to get dressed and go out to eat, excited beyond belief to be newly engaged and soon to be wed.

Zacky stuffed his suitcase into the overhead compartment, grumbling quietly when it wouldn't fit. A solid body pressed up against him from behind, and he watched as Brian's tattooed arms firmly shoved his suitcase in and then closed the door of the compartment. "There we go.. Now sit down, our plane takes off in like, five minutes." Brian's smooth voice teased in his ear.
"I'm so excited, Bri.." He whispered, his hazel eyes shining as he sat in his designated seat, right next to Brian's. His fiancé sat down next to him, a happy smile permanently stuck to his lips.
"Me too, babe.. You ready to tie the knot?" He asked, lacing his fingers firmly into Zacky's as the plane's engine roared to life.
"I've never been more ready for anything." Zacky whispered, feeling his entire body tremble as the plane took off. They were on their way to Ireland, Zacky's dream vacation spot and also the place where they would get married; and then, they would live the rest of their lives together, taking everything one step at a time.

        Doing everything day by day.
