1st Semester

Week 1. . .

Tsukasa POV:

Ah, first day of teaching at a brand new school!Today is the first day of a new school year at Kamiyama, and I get to be apart of it now.

"Saki! Want me to drop you off at your workplace? When does your shift start?" I ask my sister.

"Hm.. The cafe is about 5 minutes away.. It's 7:30 right now and I have to get there at 8:00. When do you need to get there big brother?" Saki said while tying her hair up into two pigtails.

"I have to be there 8:15 exactly, but I do want to be at school just a little early. Let's leave at 7:40, okay?" I state.

"Okay! I'm good with being there a little early." She agreed, a smile on their her face.

Good thing I decorated and got everything set up in my classroom a week prior, if I didn't... well..

"You excited big brother? It's your first time teaching at a high school EVER." Saki said, thankfully interrupting anymore zoning out.

"Yea, I think I'll do amazing!" I smile confidently.

"I think so too hehe!" Saki giggled, "Maybe you can finally find love big brother!" She poked at.

"Saki-! We don't talk about my love life..." I groan quietly. "But that's not the point-! I'm going to get a lot of good practice at this school!" I change the the subject.

"Hehe! I hope you do!" Saki said, still giggling.

I couldn't help but smile, YES she is practically teasing me, but seeing her smile like this didn't happen so much when we were younger..

Ah anyway-! I should probably get ready...

Rui POV:

Summer break went too fast...

I drove to the familiar school I've worked at for two years. Science is my passion, this year I'll be teaching a chemistry AP class. First time I've teached chemistry, plus an AP class.

I heard there is a new teacher at our school, I'm sure they are a math teacher. That's what I heard at least.

I parked my car next to Nenes car, i haven't seen her this whole summer because she was out on a trip. I was a good hour early.

I step out the car, the school air hitting me like a brick. Reminder, the school air doesn't JUST affect the students..

I fix my hair and take my tote bag out and throw it over my shoulder. Closing and locking my car door, I hear a familiar voice call out my name.

"RUIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!☆☆ " A high pitched voice called out.

I instantly felt a gust of wind behind me as a pair of arms wrapping (and tackling) me. I control my balance and try to see who it was.

"Emu! How was your summer break— oh my gosh you cut your hair?!?" I gasp, her hair used to be to her lower back, now it was cut to her shoulders.

"MHM!! Is it pretty?! I really like it! I cut it during my stay at America!!" Emu cheered.

Emu is a drama teacher, I'm pretty sure she's the only drama teacher in this school. She's really enthusiastic, the most energetic and sort of loud teacher in this school. Not to offend anyone, if another loud teacher like her came to this campus, I quite literally would die from exhaustion.. I still love Emu, of course to an extent. (:3)

"My long hair got in the way toooo much. Especially when I had to read the scripts for the school plays and when we rehearsed for them." Emu complained, now relieved she doesn't have to worry about that problem anymore.
