"Noona! I'm hungry and boring!" I whined to my only sister in the kitchen. What did she do? I don't know. She said she wanted to make something but still I don't smell any kind of food.
"What are doing?" I said turning my body facing her while still on the couch. She seems to look at the recipe on her phone.
"Trying to bake. I'm challenging myself to bake a cake." She said leaning on the couch and watching her. Why are you sudden?
"I can bake for you. What do you want to make?" I said. I'm good at baking but not cooking. We both complete each other so much.
"No. I wanted to make it myself." She said. I sighed and went to see what she was baking. When I enter the kitchen, it messes. The flour is around the floor and her face. The egg did not mix well with the butter. How can a girl like her don't know how to bake? She is good at everything but baking.
"You have ruined the flour and wasted the eggs, noona." I said sitting at the kitchen island and watching the dirt.
"It's good if you make us something to eat." I said as well as my stomach growling. She turned to me with an apologise face.
"Sorry, I'll make something for you." She said but honestly, I can't wait any longer.
"Let's go eat outside. It will take a lot of time to clean this and cook. Just go to shower while I clean this mess." I said getting up to help her.
"Really? Thank you, Woo-young ah. Love you." She said squeezing my cheeks and ran into her room. Sometimes she is like an elder sister but sometimes she is like a little sister to me. If she is not my sister, I would marry her. She is good in every aspect but baking. She can do anything men can do. Hard to believe but it was.
"Ready. Let's go!" She shouted excitedly. I just wonder why she always acts cool when with the others and not me. I just shook my head and grabbed my phone and wallet from the table while walking to the door.
"You look happy today though. Are you on period?" I asked when we walked out of the door. She locked the door and continued walking out of the building.
"I am on period but there is something else. Last week I was trying to do something new. Taeri said why don't I try to get a lottery if I was lucky enough. I feel a bit challenged and I got the ticket. Guess what? I got a first place!" She said excitedly tugging my arm still smiling wide.
"Serious? How much is it?" I asked a bit curious about the money. She looks at me with a smile and grins wide.
"One. Hundred. Thousand. Can you believe it? It was the biggest luck in my life." She said jumping around. I was surprised to hear that. How can she be that lucky? It's not a small amount to act normal though.
"W-what?" I don't know what to say.
"Let's go eat first then we will go shopping. Anything you want just name it." She proudly said.
"No need for that. I know you are taking driving lessons and you want to take Dad's car back." I said. She looks at me with concern.
"Awe... That was nice of you. How about this... Since we are on holiday, why don't we just have fun? We are barely going out together like this." It is true though that we barely go out together. A time like this is hard to get.
"Aren't it boring just two of us? Should I invite the others too?" I suddenly suggested but she seems don't like the idea.
"I just want to be alone with my brother. Is that hard for you to do it? Only this day, I want to be myself." She said looking a bit disappointed. I put back the phone in my pocket and looked at her.
"Okay! Let's have fun. But right now... Let's eat first. I'm hungry." I said dragging her into a small restaurant.
Later that day, we had so much fun. We going amusement park. The last time we got there was when we were still kids. It was a memorable day for us because that time we went with our parents and now just two of us. Then we go to the arcade playing everything in there. I'm feeling annoyed with her for some reason. Why? She said she had never played such games and it was her first time but she did it good. Somehow, it was nice to see her like that. She looks so happy and I love it. Am I having a crush on my sister? No, it can't be. It might be some reaction of attraction.
"It was fun." She said plopping herself on the couch. But too long before she gets on her feet.
"Do you have plans for tomorrow?" She asked as soon as I sat down.
"No. Why?" I said.
"I want to take you to our stores and Dad's company. It's been a while since you visited them. At least they should know their big boss." She said which made me sigh. I don't like to be around the business. It's not my profession. I like something else.
"But I don't like it." I groan at her words.
"I just want to introduce you to them. That's all. I won't force you to do something you don't want to. I just want to tell them that I'm not alone. I still have a brother who is always on my back. So, they won't step on me in future." She explained. Why do I feel bad about it? At a young age, she did a good job as a sister. Not only that, but she also has to carry a lot of duties as a leader in the company. Compared to her, I am just nobody with no future. I might love music but sometimes I wonder if it could make my future good or not. Well, we never know what will happen in the future. It is a long way to go.
