Chapter 4

Day
When his heart monitor beeped rapidly, it seemed as if the whole world was drifting away. I literally was losing it. A week now has gone by and still he's made no progress, the doctors said he is in coma, so there's not much chances of him waking up anytime soon.

Two whole months passed

Day
The doctors were telling me not to worry and lose hope, I would just nod to their words. I would also always wipe him and didn't let the nurses do it. It was during lunchtime, mum and dad had come with me to visit him. His mum slowly stroked his hair and kissed his cheeks, while I sat by his bed and took his hand in mine. Gear, Nick and Neil came, Night couldn't as he was really busy but sent wishes for Itt to wake up soon. We were all chatting in the room while I still held his hand. Suddenly the his fingers gripped onto my hand, his eyelids were moving at that time Neil went to call a doctor while I called out Itt's name. He opened his eyes and shut them again due to the bright light in the room. Mum had tears of joy streaming down her face.

Itt
The light was enough to blind me. I opened my eyes and almost got blinded. I slowly then blinked and adjusted my eyes to the light. There was a stranger in my face and my parents behind him. Why was this man staring at me like this? He was calling out my name and hugged me, but I didn't respond to it. He seemed surprised by that asked if I was mad at him. I responded with "why would I be mad at you if I don't even know you?" Everyone in the room looked shocked. (I don't know since when Gear and Nick were friends but in this book they became friends in university) There were two other strangers behind him, who were they all? So I asked them, again everyone became shocked. Then another stranger came in with a doctor, who were all these people? Then the man who had hugged me began talking to the doctor, why am I even in the hospital, what's going on? I tried hard to remember but suddenly a sharp pain came in my head and I yelled "oi...aahh" All their attention turned towards me as I yelled in pain, the stranger and the doctor came towards me, so the man then backed away. The doctor observed my condition and just waited for the pain to subside and it did. He said that he'll have to do some tests, and later some physiotherapy. I then noticed it was hard to move my right arm and leg and saw bandages wrapped around them.

Day
When those words escaped his mouth, I was shocked, I wasn't expecting that. How could he forget me? Is he playing with me? If he is he's really testing my limits. The doctor and I helped him onto the wheelchair and took him in another room. Here a doctor asked Itt a few questions like his name and stuff. Then he pointed to me and asked him who I was, he said he doesn't know and then shown pictures of gear, night, Nick, Neil, he replied the same thing. Gear and them couldn't come in this room. Then he asked him what's the last thing he remembers, he thought for a while and said that he's in high school in senior year. So I showed him pictures of Meen and Mac. He said Meen is his girlfriend right now and Mac is just a casual friend. Then he asked why isn't Meen here to visit him?
