Way x Kim

A/N: This was a request by girlie vibes. I hope you guys enjoy it cuz it was a bit hard to come up with. Anyways let's get into it pookies

"Did you hear about the new racer the that got recruited by the red team?" Sonic asked.

"The korean one?" Way asked not really paying attention

"Yes. I heard he's really cute tho" North said trying to get Way's attention.

"Mhn". He still didn't care

"He'll be at the pub tonight, wanna come?" Sonic asked

"Nah I'll pass"

"Why? Are you scared you'll fall in love with Mr handsome?

"Stop thinking with your feet North"

After being pressurised by North and Sonic, Way finally caved in and followed them.

At the pub North and sonic wanted to play a game with Way while waiting for Kim and in the course of the game, Way got drunk and excused himself to go to the toilet

When he got there he saw someone throwing up into the toilet.

"Hey you, I wanted to do that but now I can't. You've ruined it"

"I'm sorry, I have a toilet in my house . Wanna see?"

The two drunken strangers found their way to his house. It's a miracle they didn't crash.

           The next morning
Way woke up to a ringing pain in his head and confusion. He wasn't in hus house and he couldn't recognise the person beside him. The guy beside him woke up

"Holy shit you're Way"

"You know who I am?"

"Yes. You're basically the most underrated player in the history of playing"

"Thanks I guess. I don't know who you are tho"

"I'm Kim"

"Red team Kim?"

"Yes"

"Wow. I didn't expect to meet my rival in such an embarrassing way"

"Well the fact that we will race each other dosen't mean we can't be friends"

"I guess"

Kim made breakfast for himself and Way before driving Way to the garage.

Kim couldn't believe he just spent time with his idol. Way was the main reason why Kim wanted to race in Thailand. One of the things on his Bucket lists is to be as good as his idol, Way.

Babe: Where were you Way?

Alan: we were so worried

North: I thought you were dead

Sonic: I did too

Dean: so where were you Way

Way: calm down guys. I'm not sure either I just woke up in someone's house this morning

Dean: who

North:did you have sex?

Babe: North what's wrong with your thinking skills?

North: it was just a question

Way left Babe and North to bicker and went to take a shower. He didn't tell anybody he met Kim tho.

After that day Way and Kim only met in public gathering and they never really spoke but Kim was in Way's mind almost all the time it was almost maddening.

After being thoroughly trained, Kim was ready to race against Blue team with Winner too.

(I'm skipping the whole race narration and skipping to the end)

Coming in first is none other than pitbabe, and in second place is Way, and coming in third is Winner and last but not least we have our newcomer Kim.

Fans of the blue team were cheering loudly but Way couldn't stop looking at Kim, the boy looked so sad it made Way hurt.

"Guys I have something to do, I'll catch up with you guys later"

Way followed Kim to a deserted road and watched Kim come down and saw him spray painting and Way went to.

"I wasn't aware you spray paint"

"There are a lot things you don't know about me. For example, you don't know I spray paint when I'm angry and frustrated."

"So why are you angry and frustrated"

"Cuz I know I'll never amount to anything"

"You're saying that cuz you lost in your first ever game?"

"That's easy for you to say"

"This was your first race and you were almost on the same level as Winner, that's pretty impressive kid"

He dropped the spray can and faced Way

"I don't care how Good I am compared to Winner. Do you know what one of my life goals is? To be as good as you P'Way"

"Why me?"

"Cuz you're my freaking idol, I'm in Thailand trying to become a pro racer because of you. Since I first watched a race I fell in love with you and your race track skills. I know a lot of people think Pitbabe is the best racer there is but for me it's you. So yeah, that's my goal"

Way was feeling recognised and it made him happy.

"Well since I'm the reason why you're here, it's only reasonable that i coach you"

"You'll do that??"

"Yeah"

From that day onwards Way trained Kim in a race track that Way owned. They got closer over the course of training and they kept on knowing each other more. Over the subsequent races Kim was coming in third. It was progress but Kim wasn't satisfied yet.

This was the last race of the season and Kim was a bit nervous. He didn't want to just beat Winner so he trained hard the day before and he was ready.

(As usual I'm skipping to the end of the race)

Coming in first we have our one and only pitbabe, and in second we have a tie between Way and Kim who has improved significantly from the first time he played.

Kim couldn't believe it, he was as good as Way. It was a freaking tie and Kim was so happy.

That day Way went to Kim'a house to congratulate him with boxes of his favorite chocolate and food.

"You didn't have to"

"Yes I do. I feel so proud of you and myself for teaching you"

"Ok ok that's enough let's eat now"

They ate and played. Somewhere in the middle of that fun night Kim mentioned his feelings.

"I like you too kim"

They kissed and spent the night together. They kept their relationship a secret until they were caught by Alan who had no issue with them being in love as long as they didn't go  soft on each other in the pit.
