Stella is a 19-year-old girl which just got accepted to yale law school. She's preparing her move to yale. She lived her whole live in London. She has made some friends there, even though she didn't have had many those she had, Stella loved and trusted with her whole heart. One of them is Alexei Serra. He is Stella's best friend since primary school, and he has always protected her from bullies. Since Stella is moving to Connecticut and Alexei must stay in London to help in his father's company, they're not going to be able to meet often or more likely they're not going to see each other for a very long time.
Stella is in her apartment in London packing her things for the move to Connecticut, then she notices that the door is opening. She knows that this can only be one person: Alexei Serra her childhood-friend. Stella greets him with a hug and Alexei gently hugs her back but with less passion than Stella. Alexei has always been the introvert in their relationship except someone insults Stella because that's one thing he could never stand. Stella is wearing baggy clothes like all people are doing these days and Alexei is wearing his typical black suits style he always wore since he began to work in his father's company. Stella waited for him to pick her up for dinner. Alexei wanted to go out with her one last time before she moves away. So he made a reservation in Stella's favourite Italian restaurant and picked her up in his BMW. "Hey Stel you're ready?" Alexei asks Stella. Stella reaches for her bag and then faces Alexei again. "I'm ready. Can't wait for the dinner anymore". Alexei can't help but smile by Stellas enthusiasm and together they head to Alexei's car. Stella has always admired how much money Alexei's family had, he said that his father worked hard to get where he is and to make that much money, but he never said what his and his fathers jobs were. Stella didn't minded that, she didn't even wanted to talk about work with him, she wanted to talk about whats going on in their lives and what their wanting to do together.
In the car Alexei always puts on Stellas favourite playlist on because she can't resist but sing with the radio and he loves mocking her for that. Right now Stella sings her soul out for l'atra dimensione by Maneskin. It's her favourite song but she doesn't understand a word it says because she never understood italian unlike Alexei who understands every single word since he is italian and lived in Italy until he was 8. He can't help but chuckle at the way Stella sings those italian words. "Your pronunciation is horrible" he giggles at Stella. She just gives him a sharp look before mocking him back "At least i can talk french properly". Alexei chuckles and answers "Okay fair point"
Once they arrived at the restaurant they decided wht they wante to eat. Stella ordered a pasta and Alexei simply ordered a large Pizza. They've spent the whole evening together and the athmosphere was wonderful. In the background played wonderful traditional italian music, Stella and Alexei talked about a lot of things in that time, mostly Stella talked and Alexei listened but thats how it has always been between them. She talked he listenend. Stella talked about how excited she is to live in the USA but also that she is scared that she won't be able to make any friends but Alexei tells her that she is so kind that it is impossible for her to not make any friends.
At almost 10 PM Alexei drives her home and gives her a last hug since it is the last time he sees her before Stellas flight goes off tomorrow at 6 AM. "I'll miss you Alexei and you'll call me tomorrow got it?" Stella hugs him back. Alexei smiles gently "I'll miss you too sunshine. Don't worry i'm going to call you so often oure going to get sick of it". And with that Stella goes to her appartment, sets her alarm for 3 AM and heads to bed.
