Meet the Hashira

“Where the hell is Uzui?? I'm so fucking hungry!!” Sanemi asked furiously as he and the other Hashira sat and waited for Tengen and Nagisa to arrive.
“First he invites all of us for dinner and then get lost when we get here?? Is this a fucking hoje??”

“W-We’re very sorry. He'll arrive in a moment, he Just had an unforeseen.” Hinatsuru tried to keep things calm, even though she was very worried about her husband and Nagisa.
Her, Suma and Makio were trying to keep them calm and apologize for their husband's absence during dinner. Until they heard a loud thud from outside. The three of them ran out of the house to see Tengen and Nagisa outside. He held the brown skinned girl in his arms who was clung to him like her life was at risk from the speed he used to get them both back home in time.

The three wives felt a huge weight be taken off them when they saw Nagisa was safe and sound and ran towards them.

“Lord Tengen!! Nagisa!! Thank goodness!! Where have you been??” Suma asked worriedly while tearing up.

“You had us all worried, Nagisa!! What were you thinking?? Running away like that!!” Makio scolded her. Nagisa only kept her head lowered in shame.

“Girls, calm down, will you?? Nagisa, If there was something upsetting you, you know you can talk with us. What made you run away??” Hinatsuru asked in a calming tone.

“W-Well…. It's just…. I misunderstood a few things and… I am very sorry for being so irresponsible.” Nagisa said with her head lowered. Not having the courage to look at them.

“What did you misunderstood, Nagisa-Chan?? Was it something we said or done??” Suma asked.

“Actually, it was all of us. Allow me to explain. Nagisa overheard me speaking with the furniture buyer earlier and thought that I was talking about her and that I was going to sell her. And then she overheard the three of you mentioning the Hashira coming tonight, but she thought that they were the ones who would take her away.” Tengen told his wives in between laughs and chuckles.

Nagisa only kept her head lowered while Tengen laughed away while sharing her embarassing moment to everyone. But in her mind, she deserved It for being so dumb.
The three wives only stared at eachother while trying to process that. Then, Hinatsuru brought her hand to Nagisa’s shoulder.

“So that's why you ran away?? You thought you'd be sold off again??” The sweet black haired girl asked her with a calm tone. She didn't sound offended or hurt, which relieved Nagisa.

Before she could say anything, Suma jumped in.
“Oh Nagisa, we would never do that to you!!! You're basically family now!! And families don't sell their loved ones away like that!!” Suma had a more emotional tone, but that was to be expected from her.

“Are you serious?? After everything we've been through to help you after Lord Tengen found you, you think that we would just throw you away?? I expected more from you, Nagisa.” Makio scolded her with a repreheensive tone while twisting her nose at her.

Nagisa couldn't help but give a small smile. It was so incredible how each one of the girls had their own ways of reacting to her antics according to their own personalities. She sighed and lowered her head at them in a bow.

“Please accept my apologies. I thought I wasn't welcome here anymore. I am glad to see that I was wrong.” Nagisa said during the bow. The girls looked at her with smiles before pulling her into a group hug that squished the poor Cinnamon skinned girl.

“Awww Nagisa!! You don't have to apologize. Having you here safe is enough.” Hinatsuru said as they hugged.

Tengen smiled as he watched his three wives almost suffocate the poor girl with their love. Then, he realized that they had company when he finally noticed the Hashiras looking at them from inside his house. Some of them looked quite confused or like they were enjoying the show.
