— ELLIE'S POV ;;

There's a big game on today, and I join Alex and my dad. Luke couldn't go, he has a school project due the next day. Normally I would be hanging out with Spencer but he's out with his family right now and I don't want to intrude, so after loads of contemplation, I finally decide to go.
We finally arrive at Jay and Gloria's house.

"What's the project?" Gloria asks. "Oh he has to interview someone who lived through the 1960's." Phil responds. Jay groans just before his cellphone goes off. "Hello?" Jay says. "Yeah, Luke. Aw sure, I remember what I said. Come on over. Alright, bye." He says, knowing Luke would ask. "Gloria, you're gonna have to take Manny to the game." He tells her. "Yayy!" Gloria says with glee just as she shouts from the top of her lungs, "MANNY!! VÁMOS!!"

"I'm still getting dressed!" Manny hollers from the top of the stairs. He then says something about how his diet is working, in which Gloria smiles in response. "My underwear won't stay up!" He says. Alex and I look at eachother confused as we stand in the hallway.

— ELLIE'S POV ;;

Gloria, Manny, Alex, Phil and I are now at the stadium and I'm wearing a Lakers jersey and light washed denim shorts. Basketball isn't my thing I'd much rather watch ice skating but I guess it's better than nothing. We're in the stands and immediately spot Kobe Bryant. Okay, I know I'm not really into basketball but everyone knows who Kobe is. I mean, if you don't, what are you doing with your life?! We all enthusiastically shout after Kobe. "What can I do for ya?" He asks us. "You like being... a.. basketball player?" Phil asks. "Really, dad. You have one question to ask Kobe. And you ask him that?" I say as I look to Alex and bring my hand to my forehead, annoyed. But that's my dad, pretty typical. "You serious?" Kobe says in a somewhat annoyed tone. "Sorry- I didn't think you'd look up at me.." He says. "Little tip, do some preparation next time!" Kobe suggests as he runs out to the court.

We are now watching the game. "These seats are amazing!" Phil says happily. "Yeah, great view!" I say. "I don't really watch basketball all that much, but this is exciting." I say to everyone. "Hey, Phil.. why do you have candy coming out of your pants?" Gloria enquires as she pulls a bunch of sweets from his pockets. "No, no, no--" Phil says as he grabs the candy quickly. "I brought my own snacks." He says to Gloria. "Not because I'm cheap, it's just a matter of principal." He tells her as he puts them back in his pockets.

"Oh my gosh, the kiss cam. Wouldn't it embarrassing if it was on one of us?" Manny says. "Yeah, totally. And I hope it doesn't." I say in disgust. "I mean, we're related Manny. Touch us and I swear to God there will be blood." Alex says. I give her a smirk in response. Moments after the kiss cam doesn't pan on any of us kids, but to our surprise it lands on Gloria and Phil. He tries waving to the camera, saying "not us." But the camera does not move, it insists on staying on those two until one of them makes a move. Finally after staying on them for a while, it moves to some other people. "That was awkward." Phil says to Gloria. "And... we're back." He says. He still tries telling the camera no until Gloria says, "Oh come on, it's not a big deal." Before kissing him on the lips. Phil looks terrified. Manny, Alex and I on the other hand are disgusted, confused and hope to never see that moment again. "I'm not even disgusted that they kissed-- Well I mean, I am- it's weird. Totally. But I'm scared of what Mom is gonna do to him." I say to Alex. "What your mom is gonna do to him? How about Jay?" Manny says to us.

I get a text from Haley. "Dad! Mom saw you on TV. You're dead." I tell Phil who has this terrified look on his face.

— COMMENTARY POV ;;
PHIL -

"Here's the thing. The kiss cam is only supposed to be for the enjoyment of the people at the game. They never show that on TV. What people do in the privacy of their own sports arena should be their own business."
