The squeaky sound of an office chair diverted SeokJin's attention from his computer screen.
"So, how many snaps have you sent him already." The familiar voice of his friend met his ears.
"None, Jimin-ah." Jin feigned reading through the densely packed paragraphs on his screen. A hand on his shoulder quickly spun the chair beneath him around.
"You're lying." Jin was just about to defend himself with Jimin hushed him. "Jeon Jungkook. Your favourite person in the world" Jimin stopped him from interjecting again. "Opened up direct communication with his fans. You" Jimin pointed accusingly. "are telling me" Jin tracked the finger as it pointed to the younger male this time. "That you did not send him a single snap."
"Nope." Jin popped the 'P' for good measure before spinning back around.
"I know the password to your phone remember."
"About twenty five."
"Twenty Five!" Jimin shouted, caused a few of the other worked on the floor to glare in their direction. Jimin bowed his head in apology, before turning back to Jin. "Has he opened any of them?"
Jin sighed, pouting at his screen in dismay.
"No, but he looks at my story." Jimin was soon spinning the older back around.
"Which ones? The food ones, the selfies, holiday pictures-" Jimin began to note off all the posts Jin had made in the last month.
It was kind of sad how much hope had filled him upon seeing the Koreaboo post. He had been a fan of Jungkook since he had first debuted five years ago. He was even on of the first fan accounts to be created, so was therefore one of the most notable people in the fandom. Looking back on it, the username 'maleJKfan' was not his smartest idea. But the thought of attaching his real name to a fan account was not something he was looking to do. Alas, he stuck with account name of 'maleJKstan' (Since that was what most people would remember his username to be) and changed the user to 'KSJ'.
A whole month. That's how long it had been since Jungkook had given out his Snapchat. If Jin was being honest, he is surprised himself that he has one sent twenty five. Yet he counts every single one. He sent multiple a day to begin with but it had slowly dwindled down to none existence when he noticed they were not actually getting viewed. Which made sense, Jeon Jungkook opening peoples personal snaps to him would be unusual. Plus, working in advertisement himself, Jin knew that this was most likely just a way for fans to feel like they are connected to Jungkook closer.
BUT, the idol did look at peoples stories, or at least the team behind his account did. Of course, there had been fans that said they got a response. However, they were near none existent, no matter how much Koreaboo wanted to hype these stories up. SeokJin would be lying though if he said he did not get a tingle in his stomach when he saw Jungkook's Bitmoji appear almost first on the views of his storys. Given, he does not have too many friends on Snapchat, but he has enough for it to become unusual for the idol to be one of the firsts. Jin was beginning to think they had programmed a bot the view the stories of friends.
It was not until later that night, when Jin decided to just try one more time and send him a random Snap, did that thinking change.
