'Kuroko is just an ordinary boy , huh? Anyone who said that would eat their words at this scene. But then again, most people don't remember Kuroko long enough to come to that conclusion. Guess it was just us, his so called friends, that came to such a wrong conclusion.'
That is the thought that ran through every kiseki's head while they watched Kuroko. It wasn't going to be long before he saw them. Indeed, the ability of killing someone so quickly also came with the sense of knowing if there were any witnesses around.
It all started on such a normal day. It may have even been too normal to not grow suspicious. Well it seems that those suspicions were there to be followed through.
It was yet another tiring day at Teiko's basketball court. Of course, it had to be. There was no question there. A school known basketball couldn't have been jus the same as other schools during training could they. No they could not. It was a given with Teiko middle school.
The only ones with at least a semblance of life in them of life in them were the kiseki. And out of 6 of them, only 4 could even sit upright. The other 2, like many others in the could not get up from where they were lying down on the floor. Suddenly, strange music filled the room. One of the kiseki who were lying down, Kuroko, shot up like a bullet.
"Could I please pick that up? They wouldn't call if it was not important." Kuroko asked the head coach, who nodded. Kuroko went to his bag and pulled out his phone. It was the latest iPhone. The kiseki gasped. They didn't know he had that kind of money. Hell, they never even saw his phone and believed he did not have a phone. HE talked to somebody on the phone with a serious tone and face.
After he hung up, he walked to the head coach and asked if he could leave practice early, yet again repeating his earlier phrase. The coach let him off with a warning to not repeat this too many times. He nodded and practically teleported from the gym with his speed and low presence.
The kiseki were curious as Kuroko had never skipped practice before. They all looked a teach other and nodded in understanding. They all knew Kuroko was a magnet for trouble and he was bound to get into it, leaving this early. They quickly completed their trainings and had barely greeted their coach before zooming out of the gym.
It didn't take them too long to find him with Akashi's extraordinary eyesight. What was making them uneasy was the fact that he was walking into an alley that was a dead end according to Akashi's memory. That wasn't all. He had three burly men, each of them at least thrice his size following him. They looked at each other in worry and knew what they were going to do.
