i looked at all my papers, documents that still stayed  unsigned, i sighed softly as i held my forehead. This damn migraine.. i hated the fact that i worked both jobs as an paranormal investigator — and an crime scene investigator myself. i never thought this job could be so stressful. but oh, oh they paid so good. i had to pay all my debt — which was still high.

i grabbed the efficascent (is that how you spell it) and opened it up, rolling it where my migraine hurted the most. its cold sensation washed over my aching head , easing it slowly. i held the pen in my hands, gently gripping it more firmly every few seconds, "this sucks." i mumbled. Before even muttering a swear— my telephone rang. My gaze averted to the device whilst my hand trails to grab the phone.

I placed it over my ear and my mouth, softly speaking as if i never even had a migraine. "hello, this is investigator Y/N L/N speaking-" "Y/N— Heyy— we really need your help on a case that we've been trying to solve, this one was still unsolved and we kinda need your help to investigate a place that.. the paper hinted. Do you mind? Ill pay you a good amount of money."  The user behind the other side cut me off, i remembered that charming— well, annoying voice. Ugh.

"Nolan, if that money does not meet my requirements i will have to take action on you." I grumbled, pure irritation lurked in the tone of my voice. Nolan emits a sigh, before speaking again. "fine, okay, um, ill double it."  He reassured me, "if i get harmed in any way possible, double it further. But yes, ill take the case. " Once i finished my remark, i catched a little 'Yes!' from behind the phone. The curves of my mouth lifted before frowning,
