You say to me now
You would fight for me with your last breath

You say to me now
You live loyal like a dog

I say to you though
That if you were a dog
Id throw every stick as far as i could, just to give you a chance at the freedom you deserve

You stay locked in your kennel, shaking as i watch from a distance that i cant close
I wish with everything in me that i could go and unlock the gate, go and free you and give you what you deserve

Your loyalty is not your flaw, your loyalty is your strength. You keep me going, collecting the sticks i will throw you when i can open your gate.
