The Days After the Funeral Part 1

Rose sat in her room her eyes were combing the darkness of her room. The silence of the entire world was in her room it seems dead like her papa.
Foxy was killed in a car accident that almost took Rose's life. They were driving back home from the movie theater when a drunk driver hit them head on and the crash killed him but left Rose with only seven stitches on her temple where glass hit her head. The grief and pain was overwhelmed for her 14 year old self.
(Downstairs in the living room the day before)
She muttered words to herself as the others showed up to pay their respects. Her heart aches seeing the photo of them together as a family on the mantle. Her Uncle Freddy pats her back and motions her to the side.
"Stop blaming yourself for his death it wasn't your fault." He said placing a hand on her shoulder.
(End of flashback)
"He's right and I will never give up until we find who killed my papa." She says grabbing her camera from her bag and heading off.
