"What you're doing right now, it's just stupid. I mean, Anntonia had broke up with him so what is your problem?" Samantha asked, completely irritated by Michelle's attitude lately. She had been out of character and Samantha didn't like that

Michelle remained silent, looking away from Samantha as she felt ashamed at her outburst.

The short-hair been acting strangely lately, but she couldn't put her finger on why. She was acting jealous and possessive of the friendship with Anntonia, but she didn't really know what was going on with her. The only thing she was sure of was that she didn't like what she was doing.

"You will simply ask her to be your valentine like what is wrong with that? Friends do that too you know.." Samantha said in attempt to reassure Michelle that everything would be alright if she would make a move on Anntonia. "I mean, remember how many chocolates and flowers I've got you for Valentine's day even though we have no feelings for each other." Samantha pointed out.

Michelle was taken aback by Samantha's words. She was so focused on her feelings for Anntonia that she hadn't even realized how many gifts she'd received from Sampan. She realized that she was being selfish, putting her feelings before what was best for Samantha.

"You're right," Michelle responded sincerely. "Friends exchange gifts on Valentine's Day all the time. And even though we don't romantic feelings for each other, I want to make sure you know that I care about you."

"Good. I better see you tomorrow talking to her or else." Samantha said with a nod and crossed her arms on her chest while sitting on Michelle's bed comfortably. "Anyway, Rhian told me that Ann has a cr-" Samantha was about to finish but stopped because her phone rang.

Michelle was left curious when Samantha had cut herself off before she could reveal what Rhirhi told her.

Instead, she decided to just focus on the fact that her bestfriend had encouraged her to talk to Anntonia and had offered her support in doing so. Knowing that she had an ally made her feel more confident about taking the first step towards resolving her feelings for Anntonia.

The next day at college when Michelle was walking to class, she spotted Anntonia. She hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to approach her. But she knew she had to do something if she really wanted to resolve her feelings for Anntonia.

So she walked over to her, taking a deep breath to steady herself before speaking,

"Anntonia, can I have a moment with you?" Michelle asked reluctantly.

"Yeah, what's up?" Anntonia said with a warm smile, looking up from her phone she was checking while waiting for the next class to start.

Although she noticed the slight hesitant reaction from Michelle, she didn't want to assume anything just yet and decided to let her explain what was going on.

"Well..." Michelle paused, taking another deep breath before continuing. "I-I was wondering if I could give you this." she pulled out a heart-shaped box of chocolates and a bouquet of sparkling red roses, and extended them to Anntonia. "It's just that Valentine's Day is coming up and I thought we could celebrate together, just as friends." Michelle said with a shy smile.

Anntonia's eyes widened and her face flushed as she saw the chocolate and roses, not expecting Michelle to give her an actual physical gift. She couldn't help but feel flattered by the gesture and quickly put down her phone to accept the gifts.
