Blueberror didn't know the child. He didn't remember him fully. But he knew that that angry boy was his, and it was his duty to calm him down. Dust had called him Fury. The name suited his angry child, who was tense in his arms and uncertain of who he was. Hell, at the moment, Blueberror wasn't even sure. He just knew he had to say something, anything that would temper his anger even a little. "I-m S-Sor-ry..." Blueberror found himself saying. And he wasn't entirely sure why. Perhaps it was that old part that still remembered, making the words spill out like a broken dam. ("I'm Sorry I Took Your Father From You And I'm Sorry I Was Away So Long... I Am Not Leaving Again...") "I-I-m So-rry I T-oo-k Yo-u-r Fath-ther Fr-rom Y-ou A-A-And I'm-m Sorr-y I W-Was Awa-a-ay So Lo-on-ong... I-I A-m N-o-ot Lea-eav-ing Ag-gain..." Blueberror apologized, and it felt right to do so. Slowly, so slowly, the tension released into surprise. "no... no, you can't be..." He pushed Blueberror away. He had to see! It was impossible. His mother was dead, and Blueberror could see that he both recognized him but also did not. ("Fury...") "F-Fur-ry..." His son smacked his reaching hand away and fled.

Fury couldn't sleep. He couldn't wake his brother. That gliching thing couldn't possibly have been... he almost preferred his mother being dead than- than that! Fury had met Error. He'd almost been killed by Error. And if Error made his mother into that, yes, he would rather he be dead. He didn't want his mother to hate him and kill him. He didn't want his mother to take his father away again, this time forever - maybe as another glitched being! He didn't want his mother to be different from the kind and gentle soul that he had very little memory of, but cherished regardless. Fury was scared of what his 'mother' was, and he was scared it would destroy his already crumbling family. For the first time in years, he felt small and helpless and went to crawl into bed with Sprinkle. Without waking, his big brother pulled into a comforting embrace, and finally, Fury could relax a little. Tomorrow. He could deal with the glitch and his dad tomorrow. For now, he was safe with Sprinkle.

Dust went to bed, but Blueberror didn't join him. It was too early for that. Blueberror didn't feel tired. Rather, he tried to reflect on what he did wrong. How did he further upset his youngest son? How could he make it up to him? It was Error's fault. He knew it. Perhaps they could discuss it over breakfast. He could also meet his first-born too! He just had to wait out the clock until it was the appropriate breakfast time then he could fix things and- no... nothing would be ok. Blueberror knew that. He was different now, he couldn't just jump into his old life without some consequences. Error was really making things difficult for him. He had to do this his way, not Blueberry's. Blueberror would get the hang of things in his own way and win his children over his own way. Either way, Blueberror wasn't gonna give up now that he did have a way to reestablish a relationship with his former family as Blueberror. What better way to start than make Fury a birthday present?
