It's update time.

I do hope you're all enjoying this, it doesn't seem to be getting many views as I would like. I think I may end up binning this story if doesn't do well. It's a shame because I did do a lot of research and searching for this book *enter sad emoji face* I did hope people would see this and like it, but I guess I was mistaken.

Aurora -
Next class after a double dose of Potions was Care of Magical Creatures - my favourite class. I was with Fred, George, Melba and the rest of the two Houses that chose to continue with Care of Magical Creatures, thankfully Angelina hadn't, so I didn't have to witness her pining over Fred. Everytime she did it was like she was trying to invade our personal space and have all the attention on her.

Hagrid was doing a fantastic job but he looked a bit out of sorts as he kept muttering to himself while the Puffskeins roamed about us. Little known fact; they like to be thrown, who knew? So The Twins were playing catch with one. An adorable little white one with brown spots.

"I'll be back in a minute" I said to my little group before walking over to Hagrid. "Hey Hagrid, are you okay?" I asked him, looking up to meet his face. He puffed out "Eh... aye, aye... nah, aw I cannae lie tae yah 'rora, no I'm no' fine" he said, his thick Scottish accent dripped with worry and fear. "Talk to me Hagrid, you're one of my best mates, I want to help" I spoke, my own Scottish accent trembled with worry.

After he had told me everything about what Malfoy had done to Buckbeak, I was absolutely fuming, I had to fight myself so my hair didn't change colour from lilac to bright red - which failed. It was redder than The Twins, it resembled a British Post Box and Telephone Box.

I had known Buckbeak since my Third Year when Kettleburn taught us about Hippogriffs. He was the sweetest Creature ever, if you showed him respect, he respected you.

I walked over to Melba and The Twins, my anger coursing through my veins. "Oh no, Rory, what's happened what's wrong?" Melba spoke, causing her to put down her Puffskein as she came over to me and grabbed my wrists, "Malfoy, that's what's happened!" I growled.

Fred came over to us, taken over from Melba and making me look into his eyes, while rubbing his thumbs over my skin, "Aurora, darling look at me, breathe" he spoke, making me follow his breathing, those who knew me, knew how to calm me down and for some reason Fred always seemed to help me more. Was it his gentle touch towards me, his scent, or that I felt safest with him?

Once I was calmer, I noticed my swoopy side fringe turned lighter, almost my normal colour but just a bit pinker, which meant I was calming. "Now, tell me, what has Malfoy done?" Fred asked in a calm tone, still holding eye contact with me, he had moved his hands to hold the side of my neck. "He insulted Buckbeak, he didn't bow, he just full on went up to him causing Beaky to scratch him" I said. Fred pulled me into a warm embrace, I wrapped my arms around him and just clung onto him. My head resting against his chest as he stroked my hair and placed kisses to the top on my head.

When class had finished I grabbed my bag, throwing it over my shoulder and I headed to the Castle. I was still angry and I was going to show that little prick no one messes with beautiful creatures.

I had The Twins and Melba hot on my heels, we had bumped into Freya, Lyra, Nate and Juniper and they knew someone was going to get their arse kicked from me.

When we reached the Great Hall to confront the slimy Slytherin that I hated, thank Merlin he had no idea we were cousins. The thought knowing that made my skin crawl.

"Rory, he's not worth you losing your Prefect Badge over" I heard Freya say as we reached the doors. I scanned the Hall with what was my normal green, which were now probably red eyes. "Listen to Freya, Aurora, don't let him get to you" Fred said as he held my upper arms and looked into my eyes. He moved his hands down my arms and gripped my hands. "Beaky is innocent, you know the rules with his kind, respect works both ways, Malfoy is an ignorant bas..." "Don't finish that sentence love" Fred said as I saw the slimy blonde.

I growled as I walked over to him, yanking Goyle away by his collar and pinning Draco's face into the wooden table, he began to whimper. "Think you're tough huh? Think you can bully your way to the top eh? That beautiful creature is the most sweetest thing ever and you disrespect him? I'll show you disrespect Malfoy, you're in for a year of pain!" I hissed into his ear loud enough for him and his little followers to hear. He was whimpering but he was just being a pathetic prat and putting on a show.

Once I let him go and began to walk away I heard him yell "My Father will hear about this!" I stopped as I caught The Twins and Melba looking at me with the same 'oh no he didn't' look. Freya, Juniper, Lyra and Nate were just standing wide eyed. I turned around "Your Father? You're so pathetic you need to run to Daddy everytime someone stands up to you?" I spoke.

"Rory... come on, before you say something you can't take back" I heard Fred say from behind me as he took my wrist gently. "No he's pathetic, he can't just bully for the sake of bullying" I said to Fred not looking away from Draco. "At least my Father isn't a stuck up bully who uses threats and unforgivable curses to get his own way" I spoke, causing his face to drop. "At least I have a Father" he said. I just looked at him "Oh I have a Father, just you wait un..." I said, but before I could finish Fred had his hand over my mouth from behind "Do not say it sweetheart" he whispered into my ear. "Calm down, come on" he continued as he removed his hand and gently pulled me over to George, Melba and the others.

"Can not believe she associates herself with scum like them" I heard Draco say. I stopped and my face dropped. People could disrespect me all they wanted - which the majority of Slytherin did. But no one disrespects my friends.

"Aurora!" Fred called as I dropped my bag and stomped over to him and punched him in the face so hard he stumbled back, "You got that backwards Malfoy, you're the scum" I said as I walked away, past Fred, George, Melba, Freya, Juniper, Lyra and Nate, leaving my bag in the Hall. Leaving everyone in the Hall to mutter that a Hufflepuff just full on went for a Slytherin. Well, Badgers live in peace until provoked and Malfoy poked a Badgers den. Also - Honey Badgers are known for eating Snakes.

Once I was outside I walked back and forth in the Courtyard gripping my hair as I panted, I had never been so angry before, I felt anger, but this was new. My whole body shook and I felt hot liquid running down my cheeks, great, I got so angry I was now crying. It was going to take me some time to calm down from this. So I did what I normally did, I walked over the rickety bridge and into the Forest to scream, just missing my friends coming after me.

***

After some time... well, a long time - I had somewhat calmed myself I was in the clearing by the Black Lake, watching the Giant Squid having a good time in the Loch. I must have zoned out that I hadn't heard anyone behind me until I felt them sit next to me, dropping two bags next to him, his scent of vanilla, lavender and cinnamon calming me almost instantly.

"I'm sorry" I whispered, wiping my eyes with the balls of my hands, my voice was broken and hoarse from crying and screaming. "I've never seen you that angry before Rory" Fred spoke softly. I nodded "I've never been that angry before, I've just stopped shaking" I spoke quietly.

My eyes were red and puffy, wet eyelashes and I had noticed my hair was now blue. "Come here, sweetheart" he said as he pulled me into him softly. I buried my face into his jumper and closed my eyes as he held me. I could stay like this forever. His scent, his warmth, if only he knew he was what I needed.

Unknown to the both of us, a black dog was watching us from the forest, a low growl emanating from it's throat.
