The Nightmare Monster

🌟Cosima's POV🌟

"Oooh, what a freaky movie!" Stolas whispered with fear in his voice, "I still have chills..." We just came back from movie night and just thought of picking up a horror movie at this time of night. I hated horror movies. Blu insisted on watching it so I reluctantly agreed.

"Yes, but at least it had a happy ending." Tech commented, trying to lighten the mood.

"Yeah!" Blu agreed as we walked towards our building, "Nothing brings a family back together like having to fight an evil demon, an army of zombies, escape a few explosions, and survive a massive tidal wave!"

"And yet, my parents are still separated!" Stolas giggled, but we all knew he was just trying to act nonchalant. I could feel the sorrow buried in his heart.

"Movies about parents always bum me out! I mean, they always make me miss my mum like crazy." Muse stated with a sad frown.

"That movie scared me, can we please stop talking about it?" Florent pleaded with a scowl. We soon entered the school building and started making our way into the hallway, which lead us to our rooms.

"Hey, remember when she was locked in that chamber with that slimy ghost thing?" Blu questioned, bringing the movie up to topic again.

"Blu!" Florent whined and Blu quickly apologized. I just giggled and shook my head until my senses were disturbed by a faint, low growling noise. My ears perked up when I heard that sound, but I didn't hear it again. I wondered if the sound was simply in my mind. I simply shrugged and moved on, passing it as nothing, "Let's talk about things that don't--"

"Hold it!" Tech interrupted Florent, making us turn his way, "Did anyone just hear that growling sound?" I frowned. Maybe this is just an aftermath of the movie.

"It was probably Kiko's stomach; he ate all those gummy-bugs at the movies." Blu joked as I chuckled.

"Sure, Blu. It was Kiko who scarfed down all the candy." Muse replied sarcastically as Blu entered the dorm. I saw Tech, who still looked a bit paranoid about his surroundings. I gave him a reassuring smile and we all entered the room.

"It was!" Blu countered, trying to act offended.

"Well, I am going to sleep..." I yawned, "Goodnight, everyone."

"Same..." Stolas slurred sleepily, "Night, darlings!"

We entered our rooms and changed into our pajamas. After talking for a little while, we headed to sleep.

☀️Stolas's Dream☀️

"Stolas dear, I don't know if your father had said anything to you but he and I are..."

"Your mother and I are gonna be living in separate palaces from now on."

"Your father and I are getting a divorce."

"Your mother and I are getting a divorce."

Stolas stares at his parents in the dream. "Dad?
Mom? Why are you leaving? Wait!" He gasps as his parents disappear. "Guys, I need you! Come back!"

"Mom? Dad?" Stolas calls in the dream before hovering in front of a mirror. He smiles, admiring his reflection. "Look at you! You're so handsome!"

"But on the inside, you're a loser!" His reflection turn into an enrage Cosima. The mirror melts as Stolas gasps. "You're nothing! Nobody likes you!"

The mirror turns into a wave and Stolas yelled
hysterically as he gets trapped in the melted whirlpool. It splits in two directions, taking off in separate ways.
