Bad boys, Bad girls ( A Panem High Story )

New to school

As soon as I stepped into class automatically all eyes were on me. I don't know if it's because I dissed the schools bad boy or because I was new but either way it was happening. The teacher asked me why I was here and I said I was the new student.
" Well introduce yourself" she said.
" I'm Katniss Everdeen. I just moved here from California" I explained.
(a/n she moved to New York)
" Ok take a seat"
I look for a open seat and fortunately and unfortunately the only one that was left was next to Annie and the guy from this morning. I go to my seat.
I've got to admit he is pretty cute. I think
I mentally face palm. What did I just think?
Stop thinking like that.
Before I sit down I check my seat to make sure he didn't do anything to it. Luckily he didn't.
The teacher starts talking and my 1st class at this prison begins.

~~ Time Skip To Lunch ~~

As I am walking to lunch with Annie I can't help but feel nervous. I mean who wouldn't be nervous going to lunch on their 1st da-
" Are you ok?" Annie stops my nervous rant on being nervous.
" Yea I'm fine." I put on a smile and she believes me. Score.😃.
We walk in and right away I see 2 girls waving like mad people at Annie while she literally drags me over to them. When we get there a girl with brown hair asks " Who's this?" And Annie answers before I can get to. " This is Katniss. She just moved here and I was showing her around."
Then the other girl who was sitting at the table says, " Hey... Were you the girl from this morning who completely owned Peeta Mellark?"
" Oh... That's what his name is. But yes I am." I answer.
And she says back, " That was awesome. Nobody's ever had the guts to stand up to him like that... Well nobody's ever stood up to him at all. But anyway, I'm Joanna Mason but call me Jo. And that's Clove Silvers."
" Hi. Well who are those two guys that were with him?" I ask.
Annie answers in a dreamy voice, " the one in the football jacket with Odair on the back is Finnick Odair."
Then clove answers in the same voice, " And the other guy is Cato Hadley."
Then as if on queue they both sigh (dreamily) as Jo makes barfing sounds. And I laugh.
But right after that happens of course someone has to come around and ruin it.
