Oh how I hate that sound. I wouldn't mind it that much but of course today It only reminds me that today is my first day at my new school. Panem High. Yaaaaa! ( hint the sarcasm)
I hit snooze but at that moment my annoying little sister prim came in and started jumping on my bed and all over me." Come on Katniss. You're going to be late for school if you don't hurry up and get dressed." " Ok, Ok, I'm going sheesh."
I pick out my dark blue strapless shirt, my black skirt, my black headband, and my black converse. I put my hair in a French braid and head down stairs.
" Hey mom! Can I get a ride to school today?" " We would love to give you a ride but instead we bought you, your own car!"
" O.m.g thank you so much" I walk outside to go see and it's a red convertible.
I drive to school and it's huge. I have no idea where I'm going.
I finally find my way to the office and get my schedule and locker number and look over it...

I see a girl with red hair and sea-green eyes. I go over to her and say" hi. I'm new here and I was wondering if you could maybe show me around?"
" Sure!" She says. " I'm Annie by the way. And you are?" " Oh right. I'm Katniss, Katniss Everdeen."
" Do you have your locker number and schedule?" " Ya. I do. " " can I see your schedule?" I hand it to her. "Thanks. Cool we have all the same classes!" " cool!" " do you want to sit with me and my friends during lunch?" " Sure! What class do we have now?" " we have Math." " k"

- chapter 2-
-Katniss POV-
As I'm heading to history with Annie of course I have to drop my pen! 😒! So I pick it back up and as I'm going to catch up to Annie some nimrod comes along on his skateboard and shouts out to me. " how bout you watch where you're going" and I couldn't just let him do that to me so I said back to him. " I could say the same thing to you." " what did you just say?" " I said, I. Could. Say. The. Same. Thing. To. You." " well maybe if you weren't so busy making sure you don't break a nail, you should make sure you don't fall on your face." After that comment about me all you could here in the back round was ' Ohhhhh ' or ' Burn ' and whoever this nimrod is was being bombarded with hi-5's all around. But just as he was continuing to walk away I said after him... " really you're saying that to me when your so busy fixing your hair that you don't even watch where you are going when you are on that thing of yours." " first of all my skateboard is not a thing. And secondly I was just saying tha-" " I don't give one heck about whatever It is that you are saying. Just let me say this, ... Try not to run anybody over." And with that I pushed though the crowd of people who were crowding around me and what's- his- face and stalked off in my way to math with Annie.
