A/N: From now on, there are differences and irregularities between canon and this story. I don't feel like watching Jurassic World Dominion again just so I can write this. I'm going off of memory and info on the wiki.

The next day, Blue and Beta were captured.
Blue watched with horror as the unfamiliar humans wrangled her baby, aggressively shoving her into a small depressing cage. Beta snapped her little jaws at their prying hands, but as the metal door was clamped shut, she cowered at the back of the cage. Blue hissed and barked at their captors, whipping her head around to bite at them, thrashing herself around in their firm grasp.
She watched as her daughter was separated from her, a pang seizing her heart. Blue tried to throw herself at the cage, but was held back, and pushed into another cage. The blue-gray velociraptor stumbled to the slippery floor and scrambled to get up, but the door had already shut. Her furious protectiveness began to ebb as it was replaced by hopelessness.
Indoraptor shifted into view, but drifted away as quickly as he had appeared. For a moment, his piercing eyes were the only thing still visible, but they faded away too.
What is going on? Blue thought as the unfamiliar humans walked away from her cage, left, and reappeared with a human child-- Maisie, Blue realized-- and hauled her away into their vehicle.
Why is this happening?
The captors released Blue from her cage last second before disappearing into the vehicle, speeding away. Blue fell to the snowy ground, letting out a low hiss of pain, and rolled to her feet. She fluffed out her feathered arms to stabilize her while she regained her balance.
The velociraptor scanned the thick forest frantically for the departing captors, and after a while, she spotted them. Amongst the snow-powdered foliage, Blue spotted the back-end of the vehicle disappearing through the trees. There!
She ran with all her might, kicking up snow in her furious wake. She could see the vehicle clearer now, but it was moving quicker than Blue ever could. Her legs burned with pain, protesting at the long strides she took, but she couldn't stop. Not now. Not while those people still had her daughter.
"Blue!" A muffled voice screeched by her ear. "Blue, what is going on?!"
Indoraptor was desperately trying to reach her, but his distress and panic made it harder for him to fade into Blue's plane of existence. He probably wouldn't be able to talk to her after this, but she replied anyway.
"I don't know," she panted, still running after them. She could hear Beta's defiant, scared screaming from the vehicle. Blue's heart was pounding with terror, making it harder to breathe. But she persisted, a surge of adrenaline kicking in. She had to catch up to them. There was no other choice. Up ahead, the vehicle was approaching a bridge. It looked to be slowing down.
Blue ran with more powerful strides, catching up rather quickly to the slowing vehicle. She eventually managed to catch up, then threw herself up on the hood of the vehicle. Her claws made a sickening screech on the hood. Blue then lashed out, striking the glass with her sickle-clawed foot. It took a couple bashes to break completely through, but she managed to anger the people inside once a hole was formed.
Crouching down, she tried to wedge herself into the hole, but the vehicle began to speed up. She yelped with both shock and anger, attempted to frantically latch her claws onto something, but they scrambled against the shiny hood, unable to keep a grip.
Still, the velociraptor persisted. The wind howled aggressively around her, pushing her further from the speeding vehicle. Further from her baby. She spread out her arms, trying to keep balance, but the wind was too powerful.
Suddenly, everything screeched to a halting stop as the vehicle braked. Blue went tumbling off of the hood, rolled onto her back, and as she scrambled to stand up, the front-end of the vehicle slammed against her, knocking her off of the edge of the bridge and into the frigid waters below.
The river was painted with a thin coat of frost, intensifying the sharp coldness of the water. A scream rose in her throat as the water caved in around her. Winded, the velociraptor was only able to float in place, slowly sinking to the bottom of the shadowy riverbed.
