Put it on the record that Valeria Windsor was - key word; was - a drug addict.
It was no surprise too, but imagine being in her shoes where her entire family was dead. Her older sister, Marva, was publicly hung in the Boston Quarantine Zone because of the fact that she was the leader of the Fireflies, and her niece, Florentia, was locked away in some FEDRA Preparatory School because Valeria had heavy connections with the Fireflies - actually, she was one of their top soldiers. But, still, you could imagine why she had turned to drugs. Those she loved were restricted from her, and her drug use only worsened when her niece had suddenly disappeared from the school.
So, what did she do?
Well, Valeria planned on stealing merchandise from the Fireflies, disobey her trust with Marlene, and steal a car to find her niece. She didn't care about anything anymore because all she needed to do was to find her only living family member left, even if she had to travel across the empty country. It wouldn't take long though because the Fireflies were easily crumbling because of the wars between them and FEDRA.
But here was a teeny..itty bitty problem; she was tasked to help transport a bit of cargo. Aka, Valeria was assigned to help two smugglers get something out of the quarantine zone. Little did she know that the trip was going to take a whole year to get done.
But, whatever. As long as Joel Miller didn't bother her much.
