Chapter 38: Butterflies Have Knives

Mikkis Pov:

Everyone except for Morghin, Christian, Kristin, and I had a glass of celebratory champagne.

"I really do love you Mikki." Ashley said putting a CD into the stereo system. Kristin started dancing to New Years Day with her daddy, and I decided to join in. I picked Kristin up and held her between Ash and I. Ashley placed his hands on my waist gently, placing a kiss on my cheek.

"I love you too Ashley." I told my husband.

"I loves yous toos!"! Kristin said in a sleepy state. I broke away from Ashley, and went to put Kristin to sleep. Ashley followed behind me, and Kissed Kristin goodnight. We crawled into bed, and Ash wrapped his arms around me, placing his hands on my stomach. I missed this feeling, the feeling of safety. I missed Ashley and he missed me.

"Ashley, remind me next week when we're back home in California to get my truck out of storage, we'll need it." I told him.

"You have a truck?" Ash asked me.

"Yeah, a black Chevrolet Silverado. I'm selling my truck and I'm thinking about selling the Camero." I told him.

"Oh, why the Camero?" Ashley asked.

"We'll I need more room in the car, so I'm looking at either a 4 door Camero, or a 4 door Dodge Charger." I responded.

"What color?" He asked

"Red like my Camero." I told my husband. He gently rubbed my stomach.

"Have you picked out Kristin's and yours dresses for the Kerrang! Awards next week?" Ashley asked. I did, that was one of the things I picked up while running my errands.

"Yup, did you get your outfit?" I asked Ashley. He nuzzled his face into the back of my neck.

"Yes." He responded.

"Goodnight Ashy." I told him. He hugged me closer.

"Goodnight my love." Ash responded, then I drifted off into the most peaceful sleep I've gotten in 5 days.

--1 week Later!!--

"Ash, are you and Kristin ready?"

"I'm ready, I'm getting Kristin into her dress now." He responded.

I was wearing a deep purple gothic Lolita tea dress, a lace up biker jacket, SWELL Devoted footed cross tights, strappy studded 6" heels, carrying a Twisted black Satin Clutch, black nose ring, star necklace, cross earrings, lace up leather long fingerless gloves, my pregnancy navel ring, & my open bead lip ring. I straightened my hair and adjusted my wedding ring. I then walked down the hall of the hotel to see Ashley and Kristin waiting.

"You look beautiful." Ash said looking me up and down.

Ashley was wearing a black freshman v-neck t-shirt, a RIDER leather vest, nice black skinny jeans, nice cowboy boots, a studded wrist cuff and belt, star necklace, black cowboy hat, and leather fingerless gloves. He fixed his wedding band on his finger and picked up our 11 month old.

They both looked stunning. Black Veil Brides limo was waiting outside, so Ashley took my arm and walked out with Kristin and I. Everyone was waiting in the limo.
