The following day, Ivy was still mad at Adrian the whole day, and she came back from college. The woman called her again. Ivy picked up and said," I know it is you Adrian, stop the drama". Before the woman could say anything, Ivy cut the call.
The next day, Ivy fights with Adrian in the cafeteria time. Both were sitting on the cafeteria table and at first Ivy ignored Adrian. But then Adrian lost his temper and showed Ivy his call records and asked her to see if her number was there or not. Ivy was still not convinced and told him that he could have deleted the number.
Adrian got mad and asked her what would make her believe that he wasn't the one who called her. Ivy asked him to swear. He swears that he isn't the one who calls her. Ivy asked him one more promise that he would stop calling girls. Adrian agreed and left for the class.
At nighttime, Ivy called the woman and asked her, "Who are you?". The woman replied that she was just a lonely woman. Who was no one to talk to? While Ivy knew that the woman wouldn't tell her anything, so she just cut the call. Later the days, sometimes Ivy didn't pick up the woman's call, sometimes picked up and talked for 5 minutes and even sometimes she picked up and then right away cut the call.
Ivy tried everything to make the woman not call her anymore. But one day, she picked up the call and said, "Madam, please, I have to study. I can't talk to you anymore". The woman replied, "Before you cut the call please listen to me. I used to have a daughter like you. The same beautiful face, the day-making smile and her long silky hair. Dear, it is just that I miss her. Just please talk to me for 5 minutes daily, it would be enough. Dear, please. "
The woman started to cry, and Ivy couldn't resist. Ivy replied that she would take out time for her. The woman got happy and said bye to Ivy and cut the call. Days passed and Ivy used to talk daily, sometimes 30 minutes and even 1 hour. The woman got quite a understanding with Ivy. Subsequently, Ivy's birthday was near as well as exams.
On the day of Ivy's birthday, Ivy wore a light pink gown and invited her whole class to her birthday party. She was so happy and the biggest day of her life. After the party, Ivy slept. In the morning, she started to open her gifts. There were many gifts and most of them weren't as big as the yellow box. Ivy opened the gifts one by one. At last, she opened the 5-foot-tall box. When she opened it, it was a light, purple-colored gown with a white touch-up. It wasn't the type of gown that Ivy wears, but a gift is a gift. So, Ivy appreciated it.
