One day all of the unicorns were having a great day. Though, there were people who loved unicorns, just a little too much. They would hunt the unicorns, skin them alive and wear their beautiful coat as a trophy.
After many years of this hunting of unicorns, they were at the brink of extinction. There were only three unicorns left.Those three unicorns were a family. Mother, father, and child. Those dastardly hunters were not ones to give up. Despite the recognition of all the Unicorns they had killed, they wanted more. So came the hunters, and invaded the family. Finding the child small, and worthless, they left it alone. So away they hauled the mother and father, chained and sobbing.
The child couldn't comprehend what was going on." Maybe they're out on a very long walk!" But as you would have probably guessed, they were long gone.
The child, finally realizing her parents weren't coming back, wandered through the forest for another family who would take her in. Avoiding hunters, and finding shelter, she was feeling quite lonely.
