Blood moon: The Chronicles of Astraea

Chapter 2

Astraea was running back to the Hotel, she was lucky that the Hotel was close to the park she was in, she quickly went back to her room, she entered the room as quickly as possible and closed the door she went to Juniper, she was very much asleep.

"Juniper! Wake up Juni wake up!"- She was pushing her friend so she opened her eyes.

"Mmmm What do you want Astraea?"- she asked half sleep.

"I found a Vampire!"- She said with excitement and fair in her voice.

"Really?"- Juniper asked- "Wait Wait why are you awake so early?"

"I could not sleep and I needed fresh hair" - she said.

"So... you went out for a walk and you found a Vampire?" - Juniper asked

"YES! He is very scary, very tall and he had long wavy hair... and i think he is French? All i know is that he had an accent, he tried to bite me, I was lucky I remembered the spell you teached me, I made it out alive" - Astraea said Smiling just a little bit

Juniper sit up in her bed- "And you... Didn't kill him!?."

Astraea said no with her head- "No! Look Juniper i told you i won't kill the first vampire i see... it wouldn't make sense."

"I know you have said that in the past but... You know i Thought you would react a different way, like fight or... i don't know."

"I just... didn't know what to do, just... i was just frozen."

Juniper looked at her, Then hug her- "Don't ever go out alone so late... or early."

After a while Juniper pulled away from the hug and said- "Okay i have a plan... how about if we go to were you went and we find him and and... We can talk to him, I guess."

"I think that would be nice" - Astraea said with a little smile

"But if he put a hand on you he is dead, you understand? He. Is. Dead."- Juniper said looking at her directly on Astraea eyes almost piercing her soul with those huge and blue eyes of her.

Astraea Laugh a little- "Okay i understand."

Later that day they went to the park that Astraea went to last night the park was huge and the night was very dark. Astraea hated the dark even though Juniper had a flashlight and they could see some clarity, she hated the tall figures of the trees how they moved with the wind how there was the annoying sound of an owl in the distance.

"So we are here... what should we do? do you want to wait or?"- Juniper asked.

"Let's wait and see if he comes by"- Astraea said with some fair in voice.

"Who are you two waiting for?'- The vampire asked with a grin in his face.

Both Astraea and Juniper turned around slowly.

"We have wooden stakes and we are not afraid to use them"- Juniper said with a very resonant voice.

"Wooden stakes... huh? That is clever ladies but wood don't do anything to me"- He said with a velvety voice.

"We have questions"- Astraea said a little nervous.

"And i have answers Cherie"- The vampire got closer to the girls.

"Do you know where we can find more vampires?"- Astraea asked.

"Why do you want to find more vampires? I thought you liked me"- He said teasing Astraea, She clearly was not happy with his response.

"Because im trying to find the vampire who killed my parents"- She said in a very serious tone.

The vampire went silent for a moment and looked at her, he was analyzing her face her features how her eyes went from being afraid and sad to having some rage inside of those hazel eyes.

"Well... maybe if you and you friend are okay with that i can show where there is more colonies of vampires"- The vampire said very serious.

Astraea and Juniper looked at each other and the looked back at the vampire.

"We don't even know your Name"- Astraea said.

"Oh my... where are my matters, my name is Eresme de la Fleur"- He said bowing down to the girls.

Juniper pulled Astraea to a side- "Give us just a moment"- Juniper said with an weird smile on her face- What the hell are you doing Astraea?

"What im doing is called asking for help, we have been traveling everywhere this might be our change of ending this"- Astraea said.

"Help... from the thing you hate the most?"- Juniper said still with a lot of doubt.

"Yes, you know what they say friends keep them close but your enemies keep them closer." Astraea give Juniper a grin.
