Éresme followed her, He was worried that he might have made a mistake by bringing to talk to Colette and Celine, he felt guilty because she was crying but he understood how hard this whole situation was for her, he thought underneath all of that attitude and grumpiness there was a very sweet girl, she had the worst case of been heartbroken and he wanted to kill the vampire who broke her heart, he wanted justice for her parents.

He heard sobs nearby, and he ran following the sounds, she was sitting on a bench, her makeup was all ruined, she was all flustered, her eyes red by all of the tears.

"Oh Astraea my Chérie"- He sits right next to her.

"What do you want? I told you to leave me alone"- Astraea said really upset, she clearly was not in the mood for his jokes, she was not in the mood for him.

"I know what you said but I need you to know a few things... Do you want to know how I turned into this?"- he asked a little frustrated- "I lost my family too, i lost the only family i had, My dad was also killed by a vampire too, that night i was almost killed too but the vampire had different plans for me... i was abused, tortured and starved for almost 50 years.
I know what you are feeling, I know your pain, all I want to do is help you because I see myself in you, always lonely, always so serious."

She looked at him with tears in her eyes- "I don't know if i can really trust you"- She sounded scared, confused and very much sad.

"Mon chér... you don't have to trust me right now, I'm aware of your feelings towards me, You don't like me as much as i like you"- He wiped one of her tears with his thumb.

She looked at him, and she saw his Aura. He had an Aura. It was not like the first time they met in Prague, his aura was Red with a little bit of yellow on the top, it was gorgeous, he was gorgeous.
Astraea calmed down once she saw him, but it was different, her eyes softened, her cheeks flushed, her lips parted.

We should go back home.- Astraea said her voice a murmur.

He extended his hand, she surprisingly grab his hand. Astraea didnt even thought about it she didnt even know what to think anymore, she needed to rest.

...

Astraea and Éresme got to the house, Astraea was destroyed, disturbed all of her life. She had thought her parents were archaeologists, vampire hunters; she kept thinking about that over and over and over.
Vampire hunters, Vampire hunters, Vampire hunters.

Her thoughts were interrupted once again by Eresme.

"Would you like to drink some wine with me before bed? That can help sleep"- Eresme said clearly he wanted her to relax.

"Sure"- She followed him to his kitchen, it was white with some black in the counters it had a big island in the middle, Astraea felt so warm in this mansion, it was so big and spacious but it was so warm, she haven't felt that in a very long time it was a safe space, it was a home.
Eresme presided over two wine glasses on the island.

"Sit Mon chér"- Astreae was a little doubtful about Éresme but he felt empathy for her. He knew what she was feeling, which was a good sign.
She sat down in the chair next to him, Not because he asked her to do it but because she really needed that glass of wine.
He served the two glasses, he was very quiet.

She just observes him, trying to understand how this man was also a killing machine, he is so soft, so... not the thing she expected.

"You are not what i expected"- Astraera said and a blush was creeping in her cheeks.

"What did you expect?"-Eresme asked while taking a sip of his wine.

"I expected to be dead by now, drained of my blood and with a huge bite in my neck."- She said while laughing a little bit.
