"God, why does it feel like you're chasing me down the street?" You say when you look at his big smile as you walk the busy sidewalk.

"I just love doing stuff with you" He smiled and you roll your eyes smiling. "Let's get some coffee" He stopped you in your tracks, taking your hand as you stood in front of a coffee shop before entering it.

"Brian, we're in a hurry..." You say as you get in line, looking at him and sighing.

"We've just dropped the kids off at school!" He countered but sighed at your serious expression.

"Fine! We order for takeout, happy?" He rolled his eyes and you nod with a smile.

"I was thinking, before we head home, we need to pick up my dress and I need to buy a gift for a friend..." You say.

"Birthday?" He asked but you get interrupted when it's your time to order, walking out with two lattes in hand as you resume your activities.

"Bachelorette party" You reveal nonchalantly, taking a sip of your coffee.

"Wow" He said and you raise your brow.

"What?" You ask.

"Sucking on dick straws and male strippers grinding on you kind of party?" He said and you snicker.

"Maybe... I don't know, I've never been to one before, and I sadly blew my chance to have one at the ripe age of 17" You replied sarcastically.

"Who the fuck were you marrying at 17?" He looked at you in terror, wondering who else could you have been seeing back then.

"Steven Tyler" You look at him in disbelief. "You! My parents wanted me to marry you, dumbass"

"Oh fuck, that's true..." He realized it.

"Yeah, we would be divorced by now and you'd hate me the entirety of our marriage and blame me for ruining your life" You add and though you were teasing him, you did believe there's some truth to your words, whether you liked it or not.

"I would never do that" He looked at you with a serious expression. "And even if we got divorced, it's very likely that we would still be fucking plenty by the time the kids went to college"

"Do you really think that?" You bite your lip, containing a smirk.

"If I didn't then what would explain the naughty things we still say to each other?" He smirked.

"Fair" You rolled your eyes.

"But let's be serious, getting married at 17 is still pretty weird" He added.

"No, I know that. And I don't think your parents would have allowed it to be honest. They were always more sensible than my parents, that's why I have mommy issues and you don't"

"Yeah, but I do love to suck on some ti-" You cover his mouth with a hand, predicting what he'd say and looking at him with an incredulous smile.

"Nobody around us deserved to hear that" You snicker, taking your hand off him.

"And you seriously think people in New York City haven't heard much worse than that?" He counters.

"Okay, fair..." You roll your eyes.

"I'm still thinking about the party though" He looked at you with a coy smile.

"Believe it or not. Everyone in my life is either getting married or having babies and I'm-" You start but the quick mind is quick to interrupt.

"Refusing to fuck your high school sweetheart" He looked at you with a smug look and smile.

"I'm not refusing, that's putting it too strongly" You clarify but he doesn't seem convinced.
