Subaru gently laid Rem's body on the ground after cradling her in his arms, his eyes gleaming with madness. The deathly silence within the cave was momentarily broken, then resumed its place, but a devilish glee emerged in Subaru's soul.

Laughter erupted from his throat, echoing through the cave like a dark melody of a lunatic. "Hahahaha!" The sound reverberated off the walls, creating a mad rhythm.

"How amusing!" he muttered, mocking his own existence, his eyes gleaming with a crazed sparkle. His speech resembled the peculiar dialogues of a madman with himself, pushing the boundaries of reality.

In Subaru's mind, there was an unfathomable world; dark and twisted, filled with sinister thoughts, yet for him, this world was more real than reality itself. As he wandered on the brink of madness, all he could do was laugh at his own insanity.

The thought of using his ability to return from death occupied his mind. This ability offered him a chance at a sort of rebirth, but this time it amused him so much that he couldn't contain himself. His giggles echoed through the depths of the cave, and Subaru's body trembled with laughter.

"Why not?" he thought. "Mocking death, deceiving it, to reappear in the next step... I wouldn't be satisfied any other way!"

But it wasn't as simple as he thought. The power to return from death didn't seem like a mere blessing. In fact, this power offered him the ability to shape the world according to his will. However, each time he used this power, he faced failure. Every death dragged him a bit deeper into madness, burdening him like a curse.

The pain he experienced with each death, the devastation and failure every time, slowly shattered his soul. This ability, despite offering unlimited opportunities, was also slowly corroding his spirit. Each death dragged him a bit deeper, into the arms of darkness.

Subaru's nails scratched his skin, drawing blood, a ritual of sorts, a way to feel reality. "I mock the values of life, truly, officially," he murmured to himself. "And yet, achieving failure at every turn... It gives me a kind of meaning. How strange, isn't it?"

Rem's body still lay silently by his side, cold and quiet. Subaru faced his own dark thoughts as he gazed at her silence. "Yet, whenever I die, I know everything will start over. Every time... every time, a cycle that leads me to the same end. Insane, isn't it?"

For a moment, silence reigned, but then, in the darkness of the cave, almost visibly, another voice rose within him. "But to me... failure is my perfection. Succeeding at failing every time is actually a kind of success, isn't it? Perfectly imperfect!" These words, echoing in the cavern, seemed to signify his inner chaos.

"Ah, madness... What a beautiful thing, isn't it?" Subaru grinned, his eyes gleaming with madness. "Something everyone flees from, but a gift I embrace. To feel it, to revel in it... it's truly like freedom."

Subaru, alone with Rem's corpse, felt as if he were speaking with his own inner demons. "And every death means a new beginning. Every time, an opportunity to reshape the world... But still, I'm nothing but destruction." His maniacal laughter reverberated through the cave walls.

"Why not?" he thought aloud. "To mock death, to deceive it, to exist again in the next step... Truly, I wouldn't be satisfied any other way!"

But his mind was consumed by chaos. "To think, being perfect at being imperfect... What a crazy paradox!" he said, his eyes shining with madness. "But this, this is the irony of my existence. Dancing with madness, questioning the meaning of everything... What a beautiful life!"

The cracks on Subaru's face deepened, and the mad gleam in his eyes intensified. "Don't you know? You hardly know anything about me," he said, a hint of pain and despair in his voice. "You've entered my darkness, but unaware of the truths about me..."
