Subaru slowly opened his eyes, waking up to the serene atmosphere of the room. "I know this ceiling," he said quietly, scanning the familiar patterns that evoked old memories. He got up and, taking off the top part of his comfortable robe, walked toward the mirror.

When he saw himself in the mirror, he noticed that the scars on his body had disappeared. All the marks on his body had faded, vanished. A slight smile appeared on his face at this sight. His body was in excellent condition, even beyond that. A wave of peace washed over him as he obsrved this.

He had a robust muscle structure, each muscle prominent and powerful. His abdominal muscles were as hard as stone, and his chest muscles looked like chiseled parts of a sculpture. His arm muscles were full of strength and power. At that moment, looking in the mirror, he felt as if he had been shaped by a diine force.

Subaru had neatly combed black hair, with every strand meticulously arranged. However, the most striking feature was his strangely vibrant orange eyes. They were bright and captivating, almost hypnotizing anyone who looked at them. His eyes held a mysterious sparkle in their depths.

Subaru's face was filled with an incredibly gentle and peaceful expression. People felt a sense of calm and tranquility when they looked at him. His gaze reflected the deep wisdom and peace within him. At that moment, standing in the room, Subaru looked like an anel; innocent, powerful, and impressive.

He opened the door and, after walking for a while, finally reached another door. When he opened it and entered, he found himself in a spacious room with a large library in the center. A girl sitting on a chair in the middle of the room caught his attention.

The girl had two drill-shaped yellow pigtails and eyes with a butterfly-like pattern. "You are such a bothersome man, I suppose," the girl muttered.

Subaru placed a hand on his chest and bowed slightly in response: "I apologize. I sensed something odd at the door and etered." His eyes were drawn to the girl's dress. "Still, I didn't think I would be facing such a great Spirit."

The girl narrowed her eyes. "Do you know Betty?"

Subaru smiled gracefully. "Of course, I've read some writings about your existence while studying spirits."

The girl replied with a slight smile: "Hmm, at least you have some intelligence, I suppose."
Subaru selected a book from the shelves and read its title as "The Meaning of Extending Magic Duration." The book piqued his interest, and for a moment, he stared at it. "Hmmm, an interesting approach, but it still seems inefficient," he thought to himself.

When he took the book off the shelves, he was met with Beatrice's small, cute, yet angry face. "Betty didn't give you permission to touch the books," Beatrice said, with a slight hint of anger in her eyes.

Subaru bent his knees and responded: "A young lady shouldn't make such a face." There was a pure smile on his face, as even Beatrice's angry state seemed adorable to him. "Come on, smile," he said gently.

A vein pulsed on Beatrice's broad forehead, and her voice became a bit sharper, but Subaru insisted, "Come on, don't pout," carefully observing Beatrice's forehead. "Wow, it really shines," he added, admiring the sparkle on her forehead.

Beatrice, taking a breath filled with anger, stepped forward. "Betty is tired of you," she said sharply, with evident anger in her eyes.

But at that moment, Subaru suddenly shouted, "Stop!" and extended his hands to try to stop Beatrice. However, something strange happened, as if time had stopped. For a moment, everything paused, and they remained in silence.

Thousands of whispers filled Beatrice's ears, each in a different tone and frequency. Everywhere was covered in darkness, and there were only whispers. When she looked into Subaru's face, it felt like she was seeing the bottom of an endless well. There was no mouth or face, just pure depth, and at the point where they locked gazes, everything's meaning was hidden.

Beatrice began to feel the profound and complex nature of Subaru even more deeply. His face lacked any expression or meaning. Instead, it felt like trying to see every snowflake in the air at once. Subaru's face had thousands of wells, each appearing to gaze into its depths.

This moment filled Beatrice's heart with fear. When she delved into Subaru's depths, she encountered his darkness and mystery. At that moment, she felt deep anxiety about the meaning and nature of everything. Her thoughts in her mind spun like a labyrinth, unable to find an exit.

The presence of Subaru, and the fear she felt in his presence, enveloped her body as well. Her heart started beating rapidly, and she had difficulty breathing. At that moment, she felt as if she were suffocating in a dark mist. Thus, a scream rose inside her, but all that came from her lips was silence.

Beatrice felt Subaru's emotions deeply for a moment. Pain, sadness, sorrow, and grief enveloped her. This sudden flood of emotions left her stunned, unable to distinguish between her feelings and his. Feeling the complex emotions within Subaru was a profound experience for her. His pains and sorrows mirrored in her own heart like a reflection.

But the moment she pulled her hand away from Subaru, everything returned to normal. Her mind cleared, and she returned to her own feelings. However, this experience had left a deep impact on her. The sudden emotional turmoil had stirred storms within her. On one hand, she felt anger and resentment toward Subaru; on the other, she was conflicted by the deep sadness and sorrow she sensed within him.

"Get out!" she shouted, with a voice full of anger. But this shout did not quell the turbulent emotions inside her. Her eyes still held fear and anger, but there was also a deep melancholy. This moment was like the passage of a dark cloud, leaving a mark on her soul.

Subaru took a step back and tried to apologize clumsily: "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to... I mean..." But these words were not enough to calm the storm within Beatrice.

Beatrice, having lost her patience, repeatedly shouted, "Get out!" Her eyes still held fear and anger, but inside, there was a deep sorrow. This moment was a dark eruption within her, leaving an indelible mark on her spirit.

After Subaru left, Beatrice was alone in the library. She paced back and forth, her mind still in the chaos left by Subaru. She tried to catch her breath, but she had to suppress the turmoil inside her.

Finally, she pulled out a black-covered book hidden behind the shelf. She opened the book, and her eyes quickly scanned the pages. "Still empty," she muttered in disappointment. She had not found anything new yet. "Not this one, not that one either," she thought to herself, continuing her desperate search.

But suddenly, in the middle of the book, she saw writing for the first time. It was written in large letters: "Pride." Her eyes were fixed on this word, and for a moment, she was frozen. She pondered over the meaning of the word, trying to understand its significance.
