While sitting at the bar, Rom sipped his drink, watching as Felt played with the badge-like object in her hand, a look of concern on her face. Rom was worried that their efforts to steal the item had not yet resulted in the buyer arriving.

Just then, the doorbell rang. As Rom got up, each step creaked the floorboards. "For the Rat?" he asked.

"Poison," came the reply.

Rom confirmed the password, "For the White Whale?"

"Harpoon," came the response.

"For the Mighty Dragon Lord us," said Rom.

"We're bugs," the voice completed. Rom slowly opened the door, revealing a young man standing there. His black hair was tousled but seemed intentionally styled. He wore a black suit and coat, and his orange eyes emitted a pleasant sparkle. "Greetings, I'm Natsuki Subaru. Pleasure to meet you," he said, smiling slightly as he bowed.

Subaru stepped inside, focusing intently. His eyes were fixed on Felt, and he spoke with a balanced, calm tone: "I want to buy the badge Felt stole."

Upon hearing Subaru's request, Felt furrowed her brows in surprise and hesitated for a moment. Then, somewhat nervously, she asked, "Are you my client's rival or something?"

Subaru responded firmly, "Yes, I am. The one whom I believe responsible for the loss of my family and loved ones." With these words, tension filled the air in the room.

Felt's eyes widened, struggling to understand. "W-what do you mean?" she asked, confused.

Subaru continued, looking directly at Felt, "I've lost my family and loved ones, all because of him. That's why I want to confront him, to bring justice."

Felt was taken aback by these words. "But... Is this true?" she asked, still not fully grasping the situation.

Seeing Felt's bewilderment, Subaru smiled gently. "I'm kidding, don't take it too seriously," he said, trying to lighten the mood. Then, with a more serious expression, he continued, "But the truth is, that badge is very important to me. Please, I want to buy it."

Felt sat down at the table and showed the badge to Subaru, looking him in the eyes. "How much are you paying?" she asked, crossing her arms over her chest, emphasizing her determination. "No sale until the other customer arrives," she added, emphasizing the seriousness of the matter.

Subaru replied confidently, "No, of course not." He pulled out a bag and placed 80 holy coins on the table. The silver-colored coins gleamed on the table, attracting everyone's attention in the room.

"Wow!" Rom exclaimed, his eyes wide with astonishment as he looked at the coins. "This is like a small fortune," he said, amazed.

Felt, still in shock, wandered around a bit. "80... coins," she murmured to herself. Then, she tossed the badge to Subaru's face and said firmly, "Take it, whatever."

Rom, watching Subaru drink, curiously asked, "What are you going to do with that badge?" His eyes clearly indicated that the amount paid was much higher than usual, and he wondered what was behind such a high price.

Subaru, taking a sip, smiled and replied calmly, "I'll use it as a paperweight." However, this answer caused some surprise among those present. No one would think of using such a valuable badge just as a paperweight.

Felt's jaw dropped, and she muttered to herself, "Damn nobles." However, Subaru's generous payment seemed to make her less concerned. It was clear that Subaru was quite wealthy and money didn't matter much to him. With this thought in mind, before her jaw closed, she glanced again at the traces of wealth and determination in Subaru's eyes.

Subaru's stern voice demanded, "Apologize." Felt, frozen for a moment at this unexpected request.

"What?" Felt repeated, staring at Subaru with a puzzled expression.

Subaru, with furrowed brows, continued, "You said I was noble. Don't mistake me for that worm group, little miss," he said, the tension in the room increasing noticeably.

Felt hesitated for a moment at these words, then took a deep breath to avoid causing trouble and said, "Sorry, golden boy." "I apologize," she continued, continuing to collect the coins. Clearly, Subaru was an unusual person who didn't like being called noble. This was something Felt needed to pay attention to. The tension in the room created an uneasiness in everyone.

Subaru seemed to relax a bit as he spun the empty glass on the table. "I may have overreacted," he muttered, trying to calm himself down. Then, turning to Felt, he continued, "I'm sorry, but I really hate arrogant nobles." With these words, the unrest within him eased slightly.

After placing the glass on the table, he turned to Rom and said, "Fill it up, old man," with a hint of teasing in his voice. He gestured for Rom to refill the glass. Rom looked surprised for a moment, but then smiled understandingly and moved to refill the glass.

Subaru seemed somewhat relieved as he took the glass. "Thanks," he said, with a grateful smile to Rom. Then, he took a sip from the glass, seeming a bit calmer after the drink.

Rom, amazed at Subaru drinking the alcohol as if it were water, exclaimed, "Wow, you drink like a sponge!" There was a look of admiration in his eyes. "You don't show the slightest sign of being tipsy even after so many drinks. It's like you're drinking water!"

Subaru smiled faintly at Rom's words and explained, "Actually, I have a resistance to poisons. Since alcohol is considered a poison, I can't get drunk."

Rom smiled with a mixture of astonishment and admiration after hearing this explanation. "Then you're missing out, son," he said, taking a big sip from his drink. "There's nothing better than good drink and food."

Subaru replied with a smile to Rom's words, "Perhaps, but I can at least say I have an advantage." Then, he glanced at his glass and signaled for it to be refilled.

When the doorbell rang, Felt eagerly opened the door. "Hey, Elsa, what's up?" she asked, scratching the back of her head. "Sorry, luck's not on your side, someone bought it first."

A woman entered the room. Her long black hair, adorned with a purple rose hairpin, cascaded over her shoulders. Her skin was pale white, adding a cold beauty to her. "What a pity," she murmured, stepping inside with the cold wind blowing in from outside.

Subaru quickly got up. "Sorry for the rudeness, Elsa-san, I acted first," he said politely. Then, he pulled out a chair. "As compensation, how about a drink?" His tone was cheerful, trying to lighten the tense atmosphere in the room.

Elsa looked into Subaru's eyes, a slight smile appearing on her lips. "What a gentleman," she said and took a seat. From that moment on, the atmosphere in the room seemed to soften even more
