Finally it is time to get myself a drink. I've waited for hours and now I can finally go out without risking anything.
I climb over the wall and get the jars of liquid happiness or others might call it alcohol. After getting them I climb back on the wall. I sit down and open the first jar I brought with me.
Halfway through the jar I feel like someones watching me so I turn my head in every possible direction but I see no one.
„Alcohol is forbidden in Cloud Recesses." someone says behind me. I whip my head around just to see a guy in white robes.
„So is staying up past seven and here you are." I say back to him.
„You're right so we both need to be punished." he says while I look at him dumbfounded.
Is he serious?
„Yes, or we could just say nothing and neither of us will be punished. Ho does that sound?"
„It sounds like you are trying to lie."
„Technically it's not lying. It's just withholding the truth." I say to him with a grin on my face.
„That is improper. What's your name?" I sigh at that.
„My name is (C/N). What's yours?" for a split second is eyes widen before he answers me.
„I'm Lan Wangji." he says.
Of course he is my husband to be, who else could he be.
„Tomorrow I will talk to uncle so we get punished."
„Whatever." I say before I take another sip of my drink.
„You are still violating the rules."
„Well if I get punished for it I might as well enjoy it right?" I say before downing the last bit of the first jar. Of course I will drink the other one now. He doesn't leave. He just stands there watching me.
