It's been 76 hours since the report was first filed, but now they don't believe she's a runaway. They're dredging the lake in the morning, because someone claimed to have seen Blair near the river the night she disappeared. [A LINGERING PAUSE, PUNCTUATED WITH A SHARP INHALE] Well, something about this doesn't sit right with me. The police don't know how to do their job when it comes to these things, and it all feels familiar. I think I owe it to Archer to find Blair.

When Fiona was eleven, her sixteen year-old brother vanished into thin air. Her mother wept, her father clenched his fist, Fiona sat on his floor and waited for him to come back.
But he didn't.
Now, five years later, another Adler Ridge teen disappears. Aspiring journalist Fiona has a gut feeling about this one-Blair Rockwell isn't some runaway, she's a puzzle piece. One is a coincidence, sure, but two is a pattern. And Fiona Blake knows things the police don't.
