I tossed and turned as i felt somebody shaking me."What~?" I said getting annoyed at whoever was shaking me."Dude mom said wake up, hurry up." Jayden said shaking me one last time while leaving.
"God he's annoying." I said under my breath getting up from my bed. I left my room going to the bathroom to brush my teeth and was my face. That was always the first thing our mom made us do.
It's gonna be my first day of the Fifth grade today. I'm a little scared and I hope i can make some friends. At least one if that's all it takes. We had moved just this year so i had no friends and was starting all over. I finished brushing my teeth and heading to my room to pick out an outfit.

I had put my clothes on and got my backpack heading downstairs. Were in heard Jayden and my mom talking. I out my back pack down by my chair and sat down. "Here you go baby." My mom said handing me my plate of pancakes. "Oo, Thank you mom." Pancakes were my favorite breakfast ever. I was always happy when she made them.
My mom sat in front of me and Jayden as we both ate our food." So are you guys ready or what?" She said looking at us with her face in her hands. "I guess i'mr ready." My brother said shrugging his shoulders while looking down at his food. "I'm ready I just hope i make some friends though." That was really my only worry. I just wanted to make a friend i didn't want to be alone my whole fifth grade year.
"Don't worry baby you will make friends, and I'm sure you will to Jayden." My mom said she picked up her phone looking at the time. "Well y'all better finish up your food, You guys have to leave soon." She said getting up and pushing in her chair. Jayden finished up his food and i finished mine not long after.
My mom grabbed her keys from the hook at the front door. "Let's go y'all before you're late." My mom said walking out the door. I grabbed my back pack walking out the door behind Jayden and locking it. My mom quickly turned around looking like she remembered something. "We gotta take pictures y'all. Hurry up and hug each other so we can go." My mom said grabbing out her phone and flipping her camera. "Dang it." Jayden said standing by me and putting his arm around my shoulder. I out mine around his torso. "Alright~ and~ done!" My mom said putting her phone down and unlocking the door. I pinched Jaydens stomach before making a run to the car.
It was fun to mess with him. It was payback from last time we were in the car and he threw an ice cube at my head. He chased me as i hoped in the car and closed the door on him. "You got lucky." He mouthed from the window jumping in the front seat. My mom started the car driving to one of our schools. "I'll drop you off first Jessica." My mom said as she was looking at the road. "Okay!" I said sitting back in my seat and looking out the window. We made it to my school in no time. I grabbed my back pack and kissed my mom's cheek hopping out of the car. "Have a good day Jess!" My mom said out her window waving. I waved back and head through the Main door of the school.
It felt gigantic and i didn't even know where to go. To go there were so many kids in the hallways and everybody was pushing and shoving. Somebody ran into me knocking me down. "Ow." I said rubbing my shoulder. I felt somebody standing over me. I looked up and it was a little black girl that looked the same age as me. Her hand was out offering it to me. I took it standing up. "Thank you." I said looking at her as i got up. "You're welcome, and are you okay?" She asked me looking a little worried. "Yeah I'm fine, um do you know this school?" I asked I really needed some help finding my home room class. "Yeah I have went here forever, Do you need some help?" She asked. I nodded my head showing her my homeroom tag on my backpack. "Hey we have the same class." She said walking with me to the fifth grade hallway. "Perfect. What's your name?" I asked her maybe this might be my new friend. "I'm kamorea but you call me Kk. What about you?" She said as we walked we turned to the fifth grade hallway. "I'm Jessica but my nickname is Jess." I told her as we walked down the hallway. "Cool name." She said.
We finally stopped by a classroom "Wanna be my friend Kk?" I said asking her as we looked at each other. "Sure Jess, I would like to be your friend." Kk said smiling at me. "Yay! I thought i would never find a friend." I said hugging her while jumping. She hugged me back. "Me too!" She said jumping as well. "We're gonna do everything together. That's a promise." I told her holding her hand as we both walked in the classroom.
