Chapter 1
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Louis's POV
I am so happy to finally be out of that house and here in Doncaster with my Uncle Charlie. I just couldn't take it anymore; I couldn't take the abuse, the bullying, I needed to just get away from all that and start over. So that's what I did, I ran away.
Back in Cheshire I worked at Starbucks for about two and a half to three months and I finally mustered up enough money to buy a train ticket to Doncaster. Now your probably thinking since I started saving money that I already had a full proof plan for when I get there, well I didn't. All I knew is that I had an Uncle Charlie that lived close to a school and a market. Once I found out that information that's all I needed to be able to sneak out of that horrid household and start my new life. Once I ended up in Doncaster I headed straight to my uncles house which thankfully wasn't far walking distance since I didn't have enough money left for a taxi. As soon as I walked up the steps to his big two story house the door opened revealing my uncle.
"H-Hi Uncle Ch-Charlie" I said. By this time I was crying from thinking of all that's happened.
"Louis?...Louis!" He said as he pulled me into a big bear hug. He pulled away and took a look at the four duffel bags in my hands. "Wait a second...did you finally run away?" Just at the mention of running away I fell to my knees and started to full on sob. Uncle Charlie quickly rushed to my side and helped me inside and up the stairs to the spare room I used to stay in when I would come and visit.
He set me down on the bed and I was starting to calm down now."Uncle Charlie?" "Yeah kiddo?" "How long can I stay here?" "As long as you need to Lou. Now, did you already sign up for the school down the road?" "Yeah, I did it online on the train ride here." "Okay, well you look like you've had enough to deal with today so we'll talk tomorrow after you get home from school yeah?" "Sure." "Good, now get some rest. You don't want to be tired on your first day at your new school. Goodnight Louis. I love you." "I love you too, goodnight...and Uncle Charlie?" "Yes Lou?" "Thank you." "Your welcome Louis."
With that I laid down and thought about what went down these past two days. Earning the money, buying the ticket, running away, attending a new school, and lastly finding a new home and just starting over.
