I walked up the steps knocking on the door opening for someone to open the door soon as sweat dripped down my forehead.
" what took you so long?" Cady said as I stepped inside
" I picked up some drinks since it's so hot." I said handing her the bag

She grabbed my hand as she dragged me up the stairs.
" why are you crying Cher?" I asked seeing her sitting on the bed crying
" I won't be with you guys this summer." She said as candy wrapped her arms around her trying to confort her
" are you going on vacation? If so it's not a big deal we'll make plans to hang out with you before school starts again." I said
" no I mean I'm.... Moving." She said quietly
" what? When!" I said shocked

" tomorrow morning, my mom just got divorce and wants a new scenery and needs me to be with her." She said threw tears
" oh I'm so sorry Cher." Was all I said giving her a big hug
I can't believe she was leaving, what was I going to do without one of my girls being there.
" you know we need to have one last big sleepover, one last hurrah for me and Cher." Cady said smiling

" what do you mean one last hurrah, your not leaving to are you?" I asked getting upset
" well I'm not moving but my family and I are going to France for the whole summer." Cady said
I felt my body relax.
" oh thank gosh, that sound like fun when do you leave then?" I asked
" two days but there's a lot of stuff that needs to be done first." She said

" let's talk more after everyone has there things." Cher said as we all went our separate ways to collect our things for tonight
I was the first one there and I sat with Cher on the couch as we waited for the others.
" god Cher I'm really going to miss you. Where are you going to live now?" I asked

" Arizona, my mom said there a good school there for me." She said sounding more like she was trying to convince herself
We both shot up as we heard the doorbell ring. There stood cady and Dior.
" wipe those sad looks off your guys face and let's have fun tonight." Dior said smiling

We all sat in a circle as there was chips and drinks surrounding us as we played truth or dare.
" ok truth or dare Dior?" Cady asked
" dare." She said
" I dare you to chug this whole fizzy drink." She said laughing as Dior cracked it open downing the whole thing

We all cheered as she threw it to the floor showing it was empty.
" lulu truth or dare?" She asked me now
" oh ummm how about... truth." I said
" do you like anyone?" She asked smirking
" at the moment no." I said
" what about Benny I mean he's pretty cute." Dior said smiling

I felt my cheeks get red for no reason.
" she's blushing!" Cady yelled
" no I'm not, and no I hate him." I said covering my cheeks

" sure..." Dior smirked

As I laid on the couch next to my friends as a cheesy love movie played, my thoughts wondered to Benny. No there was no way I liked that stupid boy, I'm just letting Dior put things in my head again. But he is one heck of a baseball player and his soft eyes and the way he looks at me.

Bennys pov:

As I laid in my bed I looked at Lula's wooden baseball bat that she left at the field. Why did she hate me so much? As much as I acted like I hated her I was starting to get this feeling that I was starting to like her a little. I sat up in bed as I walked to the bathroom to clear my head.

" come on Benny, you don't even really know this girl. She hates you so you can't be falling for her now nor ever." I said looking at myself as I splashed my face with water and headed back to bed closing my eyes trying to stop thinking about her.
