In the city, two certain Japanese university girls are walking with the rest of the university's group as they follow the tour guide. Those two are Maribel and Renko. They are having a study tour in the US.
Maribel: Renko-san, did you hide the umbrella somewhere in the hotel?
Renko: *smile* I sure did. It's not like someone trying to find and notice it. They might think of it as a normal umbrella.
As they walk, the tour guide says something.
Tour guide: And on your right is the UN HQ. Luckily, we have a permission to go there as long as we don't disturb the world leaders.
There's a mix of mumur between the students. They were disbelief that they have an allowance to go inside the UN HQ building while there are still world leaders. Eventually, they go straight in.
Meanwhile, with the trio
They are still at the top building. Kosaka is looking down on the streets as if he is observing something. Flandre and Koishi however, they are laying down on the roof ground with a bored face.
Flandre: *bored Sigh* Onii-sama, what are we waiting for?
Flandre said with a hint of boredom. She is exposed to the sunlight, but didn't burn. Why? Because Kosaka gave an anti-sun bracelet to make her immune to sunlight. How did he get that? Check chapter 12 for explanation about he create stuff. Anyway, the bracelet has no limitation of how long it last. She felt grateful that she can move around without worrying about the sun burning her.
Kosaka: Just observing, kid. Don't worry, you'll have your fun later, be patience..... Koishi, you know that your ability doesn't work on me, so please, don't even try to run away.
Flandre looked confused before glancing beside her and saw that Koishi isn't next to her anymore. She looked to her left and found Koishi was floating and about to fly away. Koishi pouted before decending and sit down next to Flandre. She felt disappointed about her ability being ineffective towards Kosaka's awareness.
Meanwhile, inside SDM, Gensokyo
The girls are having an indoor cinema through the projector from the yin-yang orb camera. Remilia had just woken up from faint and now feeling jealous about her sister for having that bracelet. Meanwhile Yukari, she had just opened a small gap next to her and took a peek.
Ran: Yukari-sama, what are you doing?
Yukari: I'm taking an investigation on where he is now, but I don't see him.
Ran: what do you mean?
Yukari: What I mean is I'm seeing the same rooftop. The exact same rooftop where he is standing, but I don't see him.
She closed her gap and looked at Ran and the rest.
Marisa: Shouldn't we just ask him?
Reimu: *speaking through the projector screen* Kosaka, where exactly are you?
Kosaka (from the screen): Outside world, specifically New York, America. But it's 78 years into the future.
