In Tokyo, Japan, Reimu is in Sumireko's apartment. During her quest of finding Sumireko, she had been flying around multiple cities just for looking for the high school girl, and for some odd reason, the people haven't noticed her. She has stayed with Sumireko for a week now and currently, she is alone in the room doing some clothes folding. Within the silence of the room, a flood of memories begin to display on her mind. An image of Yukari gets stabbed appears in her mind as she suddenly jolts and ruined the shirt. She starts to sob and uses the shirt to cover her face.

*Door open*

Sumireko: Hey Reimu-cchi, I bought two movie tickets for us to watch- *Notices Reimu crying*.... Reimu?

She looks concerned as she stares at the crying Reimu. She walks foward and sits besides, and without any warning, Reimu hugs her and let out all of her sorrow.

Sumireko: *carressing Reimu's hair* There, there.... Want me to stay for a while?

Reimu: *nod*

Sumireko: Ok... let it all out, Reimu-cchi

She stays there while carressing and comforting Reimu until she is better.

Timeskip: Nighttime (9 PM)

Reimu is at the convenience store, buying some riceball and ramen. After she pays the groceries, she walks out from the store and on her way back to the apartment. So far, her new life is rather peaceful with Sumireko as her new best friend or new family.... Until she hears a shivering whistle that appears out of nowhere.

It was ominous and chilling that it made her hair skin stands up. But, she shakes her head and ignores it, not wanting to think about the scary atmosphere. A few minutes, she have arrived in front of Sumirekos apartment.

Reimu: *knock the door* Sumireko, it's me, open up

She continues to knock until it opens on its own which confuses her. She walks into the room and noticed that it is dark. She tries to turn on the light and immediately shocked at what she sees. There, some broken furniture and blood spilt all over the place. And what strange is that there is no body. She drops her groceries bag and kneel down.

Reimu: AAAAAGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

She yelled and broke, trying to comprehend what is happening. Flashback of her old friends began to reappear on her mind of where they get slaughtered by "him". Tears started to form as she cries. Then, the same whistle appears in the room where she felt her hair skin stands up. She hears an unknown footsteps have just appeared out of nowhere behind her and seemingly walks towards her. Her heart began to beat faster and she has trouble to breath. The footstep stops on its track and then a hands touches her cheek and head. The one who touches her is none other than the killer, Kosaka. He has an ominous straight smile on his face.

Kosaka: *Carressing her head* shhhh... My little Reimu, did you think you could run away from me?... How cute.

She silently sobbing in fear as her life is on his hands, she know that he certainly wants her dead.

Kosaka: Have you ever wonder why I took a dead corpses?

Reimu: *shakes her head in fear*

Kosaka: Because It satisfy me. It felt funny to see all the mangled and unrecognized body of everyone you loved, whether it's a youkai, humans, or gods... Since I'm a nigh-omnipotent, they are permanently dead, unless I revive them.... Do you want to know where their souls at?

The moment he said "soul", her eyes widen. Everthing that comes out from his mouth is bad news. It makes her wanted to beg to be alive, but nah, he wanted to torment her more.

Kosaka: I put their souls in a jar. Every souls and corpses are all underground at my house Soon, you will join them.

His hands are now position itself on her face, barely covering her eyes.

Kosaka: My sweet dear Reimu... You might be wondering, why I commited a mass genocide? Remember the mahjong game where I lost and gave away my weapons? During that time, That shinigami, gap hag, you, and everyone else laughed at me when Komachi and Yukari talking shit about me. "I doubt he would killed us," Yukari said. I took that personally and assumed that was a challange. And here we are, you in your final moment.

His hands slowly rotates her head a little while she is still sobbing.

Kosaka: ... Close your eyes and go to sleep. If you sleep, you'll feel no pain.

Reimu, with a panic, shouts in fear until he snaps her neck in a quick death. It's over, she finally silence and fall to the floor motionless. Kosaka closes her eyes until he opens a gap beneath her and swallows her whole. His goal has finished. He opens another gap and walks inside it before it closed behind.

Timeskip: 2 days later

After two days of Reimu's death, He decided to revive everyone using his power. And so, everyone that he killed had been revived and live their lives again. He also erased their memories of what happened back then, except for Reimu, Marisa, Yukari, Sakuya, Seiki, and Eirin. They are the only people who would live in fear of having those memories. Every time they coincidentally meet up with him, they hesitate to pick a better words.
