-----------------------------------------------------------

The morning sun glinted off U.A. High's massive gates as Yorokobi Yamada stood just outside, heart pounding beneath her new uniform. She clutched the strap of her bag, fingers tapping out a nervous rhythm. Her long hair, just a few shades lighter than her father's, caught the breeze as she looked up at the towering building before her, a mixture of excitement and trepidation sparking in her eyes.

Yorokobi could practically hear her dad's voice in her mind, loud and encouraging as always: "You got this, kiddo! Go show 'em what a Yamada can do!" She grinned, her cheeks flushing at the thought, but there was an undeniable pressure that came with that name. Being the daughter of the legendary Present Mic was exhilarating, but the expectations weighed on her like a second bag slung over her shoulder.

As she stepped through the gates, she was already whispering a quick pep talk to herself. "Alright, Yoko. You're here. You're ready. Just... don't scream," she muttered, suppressing a giggle. Her voice quirk was powerful, but nowhere near as overwhelming as her father's, and higher-pitched - enough to make her a force, but still something she had to learn to control.

Yorokobi's gaze drifted over the familiar faces of the pro heroes she'd seen growing up, now captured in statues and murals around the campus. Somewhere out here, her dad's goofy grin would be immortalized too, she was sure of it. The thought brought a warmth to her chest, like a quiet reminder that, despite everything, she wasn't alone.

As she approached the main building, the hum of other students filled the air. Some glanced her way, and Yorokobi could sense the curiosity radiating from them. New faces, potential friends, and maybe even rivals. It was her first day, her chance to show the world who she really was. She straightened her shoulders, taking in a deep breath.

"Here goes nothing," she whispered, and with a spark of determination, stepped forward into the world of U.A.

Yorokobi had barely taken a few steps into the bustling hallway when she noticed two students approaching. They were both dressed in the U.A. school uniform, but they stood out-one in his collected stance, the other in her bubbly energy that seemed to radiate like sunlight.

The boy, with neatly combed dark blue hair and sharp eyes, offered her a calm nod. Despite the standard uniform, he carried himself with a composed charm that made him look effortlessly put together. "Hello. You must be new as well," he greeted, his voice smooth and unhurried. "I'm Akina."

Before Yorokobi could respond, his twin sister practically bounced forward, her hands clasped in front of her with excitement. Her purple hair was tied up with a neat bow, and though she wore the same uniform, she brought a spark to it, her entire demeanor brimming with enthusiasm. "Hi! I'm Akira!" she beamed, practically vibrating with energy. "First day, new friends, new everything - isn't this amazing?"

Yorokobi found herself smiling, feeling her first-day nerves ease a bit. "It's nice to meet you both," she said, glancing between them.

Akina's lips curved in a subtle, polite smile. "Don't mind Akira. She's, well... easily excited, especially around new people."

"Hey! You're just as excited as I am!" Akira protested with a playful pout, nudging her brother lightly before turning her attention back to Yorokobi. "So, are you as psyched as I am? This is U.A.! We're all going to be heroes one day!"
