"Ishiyama, Till!"

Till always was a passionate boy. He knew that already.

Some times people would say he was too passionate. Till knew that too.

Despite the various comments about his behavior, he still held his head up high and showed no sign of backing down. He was not one to back down from a fight or give up. Most would just say he was stubborn as hell, but a select few would say he was brave and couragous. Out of the select few that would say as such, the main two that Till remembered would be when Mizi, his childhood friend, helped him when he was hurt from a fight.
------------------------------

"You shouldn't have gotten into a fight with him! You got hurt!" A little pink haired girl said with great concern.

"But he broke your flower crown that you made for me!" A little Till retorted back at the worried girl.

"Fine, but don't get hurt again, alright?"

"...Fine," Till grumbled back in disappointment. A few moments of silence had passed by before the little Till made up his mind to speak. "But I'm still going to protect you."

"Okay, okay. You can be my brave knight!" Mizi joked, but Till's eyes lit up.

"Really! Then I'll be your brave knight and I'll protect princess Mizi!" Till exclaimed as he smiled brightly.
--------------------------

On the other hand, the other person that Till remembers calling him brave was more peculiar. All of them went to the same day care (Mizi, himself, and the other person), but this person hardly spoke. In fact, the only time that Till ever heard him speak was when he tried to offend Till or to get something he wanted. Except for this time. This person was Ivan Takeyama:

"You're brave."

"Huh?" Till was sitting peacefully by one of the large trees in the daycares backyard when he heard the odd compliment.

"I said 'You're brave'." Ivan added on as he sat next to Till and looked at Till's bandaged up arms. Till immediately moved away from Ivan only for Ivan to move closer each time he tried to increase the distance.

"What do you mean- ack! Why are you getting closer?!" Till kept on questioning the boy next to him and his actions.

"'Cause I want to sit next to you?" Ivan tilted his head slightly, acting innocent.

"Ack! Get away! Why do you even want to sit next to me? You were the one who punch me!" Till shouted at the black haired boy.

"Correction. You punched me first." Ivan responded calmly, seemingly not seeing a wrong to his actions.

"You broke the flower crown that Mizi made me." Till looked at the other boy with anger in his eye signifying how important that flower crown was to him.

"I still stand by what I said," Ivan looked Till straight in the eyes holding eye contact with his deep dark blackish blue eyes. "You didn't stop until you weren't able to keep going. I think that's pretty brave in my opinion." Ivan smiled brightly at Till who didn't return it. Till hadn't broke eye contact until now, trying to understand what Ivan meant through this entire conversation. Although before he could ask, the caretaker at the daycare called Ivan by his name meaning he had to go home. Ivan got up and left after finally breaking his eye contact, leaving Till laying on the soft grass, not knowing what to do about what just happened.

After that day, Ivan never elaborated and kept quiet for the rest of the time Till knew him.
---------------------
Back to the present, Till had walked over the seat in front of the headmasters podium before sitting down on an old wooden chair. An old hat that was in the hands of one the professors was placed on top of Till's head covering his eyes. Once placed, Till could hear the hat as it decided where to sort, talking to itself.
