On a secret dock 1940. Somewhere in the Netherlands a brand new battlecruiser, the HNLMS Holland has just been completed. It's design can be compared to that of the Scharnshorst class it is based on that design after all.
This ship has been built in great secrecy from both the allies and the axis powers itself, the dutch got the design after Germany handed out the design of the Scharnshorst class years ago. Germany knew that the Netherlands would build a ship but what they don't realize is that it was already completed.
The ship was built in a secret drydock, with a roof so no reconnaissance aircraft could monitor it, it was a top priority and would be completed before the invasion of the Netherlands. In which, it would be forced to flee without being known.

Third Person
On the deck of the Holland many sailors could be seen, some were in awe of the ship as they haven't even seen this before. They were trained to operate a ship but they weren't given the chance to see it, heck they haven't even know what the ship they're operating will be, all for the secrecy of this ship to be kept. All but the captain hadn't known this.
The once drydock had been flooded for the ship to set sail, there are giant gates to keep it from the outside after all this is the new pride of the navy.
With that you could see the camera change to the bridge where there are 2 people talking.
(Sir, Are you sure the Germans will invade us?)
(I dont know, but the Germans have been eyeing up on France, if that were the case it wont be long for us to be next. We may be neutral but that doesn't mean that theyre friendlies. We cant let this ship fall into enemy hands.)
(But sir, we lack crew, if we get attacked and they die, no one will take their place! not to mention that they have no experience operating this ship due to its secrecy.)
(Calm down, just remember your training, i have already briefed the others.)
(But where are we actually going? we cannot sail to the Dutch East Indies because the Japanese could attack at any moment, which would put this ship in a bad position
than here!?)Captain: Ik weet het, daarom gaan we naar Brazilië. (I know, that's why we're going to Brazil.)
(Okay, I'm not going to interrogate you about how stupid that is. What are your orders?)
(Engines make steam, prepare for a breakthrough to the Atlantic.)
With that order the sailor got into the intercoms.
(Everyone head to stations, engines make steam prepare to set sail.)
