August's P.O.V
I had just came in the house to find my momma on the couch watching the news crying.
August : momma what's wrong ? I said concerned.
( AM= August's Mom )
Am: she gone .
August : What ?! Who ?
Am: She gone .
At this point I was even more concerned than before . I hadn't seen my momma this distraught since my dad died .
I ran upstairs to my room and turned on the news .
NewsReporter: This Just In 14 year old Miya Alsina Reportedly shot and killed on the spot . Witnesses say Ms . Alsina was out with 6 of her friends when a drive by shooter came and shot throughout the car . Apparently the shooter was aiming at 15 year old Kason Carter who was a drug dealer . In the car was 14 year old Nina Aaron , 15 year old U'nique Williams , 14 year old Cierra Johnson , and Tierra Jones along with Mr. Carter and Ms. Alsina . Bullets hit all six of the friends , But Ms. Alsina was the only one to die along with Ms. U'nique Willams because the bullet went through their heart . We haven't yet got through to Ms . Alsina's family , but Ms . Williams family knows about the news and has yet to release a statement .
I had heard enough . Tears began to roll down the sides of my face. My little sister was gone . I rarely ever cry because I felt it showed a sign of weakness . As I fell to my knees I couldn't help but say my momma's word aloud :
She's Gone.
I'm Backkkkkk 💁🏽I'm thinking about writing a new story somewhat based on beyond the lights . Oh well , we'll see.
