Mystery of the missing kid - book 1

Chapter 4: Who are you?

"How do you know my name?" Sally asked backing away quickly only to find out she was backing away into a wall

"Oh we know a lot about you and your boyfriend Sam," the masked creature said to Sally

"Yes all about you just as you know all about us," Saphia said as she was leaving

Sally's face got all red before saying

"SAM IS NOT MY BOYFRIEND YOU IDIOTIC KIDNAPER," Sally said a little too loud

"Ok then well we just need some information from you that's all... can a little girl like you do that for me?" the masked monster said as he took off his mask to reveal his true face and Sally could have sworn she knew it somewhere but couldn't place it

And so as the days went by Sally got to move around the place more and soon she would make her escape... hopefully she will be alive when she does. A few days have gone by already and then she noticed something on one of the walls in a room she went to frequently without anyone noticing

"Hmm strange that looks almost like the photo Izy has in her house" Sally started thinking out loud then she knew "of her and... Sam"

"Ding ding ding the detective cracked the case," the kidnaper said walking out of the place he was hiding, " I was starting to wonder if I would have to tell you who I was"

"So- you... Your.. you're-'' Sally started but couldn't bring herself to say the words... as if they seemed illegal to say like a kid swearing against their parent's rules

"I-i'm yes I'm Sam's father" the kidnaper finished kinda for Sally

"And you don't find anything wrong with knowing where your kid is... Not going to them but instead telling their best friend who you are, knowing when they escape the truth will as well?"

"If they escape"

"Right if. If and when"

And so the next few days sally was there she avoided the kidnaper as much as possible, one day she heard a scream and someone running past her and soon after she saw Blue... casing the person screaming and running

"Blue? What are you doing here?

"Well I'm trying to apologize for scaring the person I spooked"

"Blue.. that's not what I meant, I meant what are you doing here"

"Oh I'm rescuing you"

"Where are the others?"

"They don't know I'm here.... Yet"

"Why don't they know... how don't they know?"

"I didn't tell them... how else? I mean I know I'm not the first person you would think of to be saving you but here I am and I will get you out" Blue said kinda proud of herself

"Well, it's a nice thought but do you even have the plan to get us out... and me out alive.... I was going to say for us both to get out alive but caught myself and remembered what you were." Sally was rambling on she didn't notice the way Blue had looked into the distance as if she had a feeling something was about to happen and not a good something

"Uhhh... Sally you might want to start running"

"What do you mean-" sally started to say when the monster and his assistant ran towards them after basically breaking the door down

And the rest was a blur for Sally to remember fully but what she did know was that somewhere along the way Sam and the others came and helped free Sally and a few other trapped kids

"Sally! You're ok! 😀" a warm smile appeared on Sam's face when he said her name

"Yep, we are all ok"
