Maybe due to my extreme excitement, I arrived at the training room earlier than usual. Today marks the day when I'll meet all the complete ASAEL group members. I'll be assigning permanent positions to each member and giving an introduction to their tasks for the day. It's a significant day as ASAEL will be globally introduced on their own website and YouTube channel!
Even though I've done this in my first life, the excitement still burns in my heart, especially with Yaara coming here.
A knock on the training room door interrupted my thoughts. After granting permission, an AZ staff member entered, accompanied by two ASAEL members from a modeling company. I greeted them with a smile.
“Welcome, Zuan Xinyi and Melantha Orlova.”
Damn... even though I've met them before, I'm still taken aback by their incredible beauty. Perhaps that's why they come from a modeling company.
“Are you our manager? Just call me Zuyi,” the girl from Taiwan, China, greeted me with a big smile, accentuated by a 'beauty mark' on the right side of her lips. With her ruddy white skin and long curly brown hair that cascades past her shoulders, she never fails to stun.
"Have you forgotten the culture here? We need to bow first, then greet," scolded the Russian girl's, pushing Zuyi to bow at me. She also did the same thing. Mel, a stunning beauty with intelligence to match, bowed gracefully. Her straight, waist-length hair and pale complexion added to her regal aura.
They both possessed different types of beauty, perhaps owing to their respective countries of origin. Zuyi exuded a natural warmth, while Mel's beauty was more akin to that of a cold and unique queen, mesmerizing all who beheld her.
I chuckled. Even in this second life, Mel still played the role of a big sister, guiding Zuyi despite their mere one-year age difference.
"You can call me Mel," she said, standing upright.
“Yes, Zuyi and Mel. You can call me just 'manager', or 'Soojin Unnie'," I replied.
"So your name is Soojin Unnie? Can I call you by name only?” Zuyi asked excitedly.
"This brat. 'Soojin' is her name, 'unnie' is a term used to address an older woman," Mel explained.
'Older women'? That's actually hurt my pride, but it's okay.
"I'm still in my 20s, so you can just call me 'unnie,' which means 'sister' in Korean. It seems like you're both fluent in Korean. I'm impressed.”
"We've only had a month to learn Korean, so our pronunciation may still be a bit off," Mel explained.
“But, I can understand both of you fluently, so there's no problem with that. Did you know that one month is quite short to learn a new language? So, I'm really proud of you both.”
Hearing my praise, they exchanged smiles. Despite their towering presence, they were still young, and I hoped they could act like normal teenagers. Their modeling company wasn't ordinary, and they must have been trained rigorously. They're still very young, so I'll indulge them. In my first life, they faced problems just for being 'foreigners' in this country. I want to protect them. I won't let them face the same issues again.
"Have you two had breakfast yet?" I asked after seating them.
"Not yet, Soojin Unnie," Zuyi replied promptly.
Their company should have prepared everything for their stay in this foreign country, including meals. It's unacceptable for them to be left without food.
"Since it's still morning, I've prepared something light. Is that okay with you two?”
Their eyes sparkled with hunger as I opened the bag containing breakfast I had cooked at home. Handing each of them their breakfast, I hoped they would enjoy it.
