Mikes POV

After a while, Y/n is asleep after crying, I knew that she/he lived a shitty life but not that bad.
Knock Knock Knock
Jeez I don't want to get up. I think to myself but I do anyway and slip away from Y/n so she/he won't wake up. I walk past the kitchen, Abby is watching cartoons on the TV as always and I open the door, it's Vanessa. "Mike, you have to stop whatever you are doing at freddys." Vanessa starts off, no hello, hi, how was your day. Vanessa rolls her eyes.
"Mike, if you can't stay alert at freddys then stop working there, it's for your own good. Also I got you a gift." She pulls out my sleeping pills shit it fell out of my bag. "Uh.. listen it's not what you think they are it-" "I know what they are Mike it's written on the bottle." Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed  Abby pops out of no where. "Are you here to arrest Mike?" She asks. "No.. did he do anything?" Abby nods her head. "Yea, being annoying." I roll my eyes. "Well I didn't know that Mike had a daughter." Vanessa says, me abd Abby both say No! "Abby is my sister." Vanessa's face softens I know that something snaped inside her. I turn my head to look at Abby. "Uh.. Y/n is going to take care if you, can you let me and Vanessa talk?"
Abby nods her head. "It was nice to meet you!" Abby says to Vanessa, and she waves goodbye. I tuen my attention back to Vanessa"Uh.. You wanna take a walk?" I ask Vanessa, she raises an eyebrow. "To where?" "There's a lake near, not far away, just a couple blocks away." I know that Y/n will take care of Abby, she/he is good with kids, better than I am with Abby. Vanessa nods her head.

Y/Ns POV

When I flutter my eyes open I realize that Mike is gone, that I'm just hugging a pillow close to my chest. I sit up and strech after that beauty nap. I get up and I see Abby watching cartoons on the floor and I walk towards Abby. "Hey." I say in a groggy voice as Abby looks up at me. "Hey Y/n!" "Where is Mike? Did he go out?" I ask and Abby nods."He went with Vanessa." I raise an eyebrow. Vanessa? Is something wrong. "Did anything else happen while I was asleep?" I change the subject and Abby shakes her head. "No, but if you want you can watch cartoons with me!" Abby smiles, I know that she's trying to cheer me up.
So I nod. "Sure, whats this cartoon about?" I sit beside Abby on the floor. "It's about a bunny who makes friends in the forest but he can't fit in because no one likes him." Sounds like my life. I think to myself, I shake my head to stop whatever I was going to think of next. "Oh, and Abby." I say. "Maybe we can get some ice cream later, I just have to take a shower, ok?" "Ok!"

Mikes POV

Me and Vanessa arrive at a small river and sit on a bench, a small water falls down and tickes the tip of my nose, I wipe it off. "So," I start off. "I used to have a brother, Garret, and when I was about 12 years old. Me and my family went camping to Newbraska for a couple of days. And on the 3rd day when we were going to leave thats when Garret got taken." I can feel my bottom lip tremble a little bit, I take a deep breath before I spoke again. "And my mom called the cops, no one found him. But there is this theory that every memory, every tiny detail, gets stored in your brain." Vanessa nods at the fact, but stays quiet so I can finish telling the story or whatever else.
"And since then my mom would never get out of bed, talk, move, or anything. And my dad left when I just turned 13, not even a goodbye. So when Abby was born I took care of her when I was 18. I had to quit everything just so I could make sure that she was safe." Vanessa gives me a small sad smile and nods. "I can tell that you care about Abby a lot, you are a good brother." She pats me on the shoulder. I smile back. "Thank you, Vanessa." "Is there anything else you'd like to talk about?" "Uh.. yea- yeah actually. I keep on having this dream everything about that day. And it-it's so vivid." I sigh. "And thats when people say that I'm crazy."
Vanessa chuckles. "MIke, trust me, thats not crazy by any means, I've seen crazy and you've been through is nothing." We both laugh then Vanessa's walki-talki goes off. "Thats my que to go." She stands up but before she does leave say says one last thing. "And Mike, no more sleeping at freddys." She grabs my pill bottle from her pocket and chucks it into the river as it makes a small satifing splash, and she leaves, I also get up and walk back to the house."

Y/Ns POV

Abby and me both laugh at the acrtoons, we cancled the ice cream because it's raining, but we also made the choice of jumping in the wattery puddles.
The door opens and it's Mike, I walk up to him and hug him as he hugs me back. "Sorry Y/n I was-" "With Vanessa, I know." "How?" I sigh and bury my face in the crook of Mike's neck. "Abby told me." I can feel Mike nod, he rubs my back with this hand up and down softly and slow. "I promise you, nothing happened, I just got a little shit for forgetting my pills, Vanessa found out I was sleeping on the job." We chukle and I let go of the hug. "Me and Abby are going to jump in the puddles, wanna join?" I ask Mike as a little smile pops on his face. "Sure, why not."
