I rushed over her house door again, and this time, I bought the spare key of her apartment with me that I always kept hidden with me. I tried to unlock it, but something was blocking the door, and that's when I felt a couch on the other side of the door, blocking it. "Adeline! Don't run away, love! Please! I'm desperate!" I yelled from across the door and try to break the door.
Adeline pov:
Oh no, it can't be. How did he found out that I was trying to run away. I whispered to josh was he zipped up the bags, "we have to hurry, Josh!" To which he nods desperately and pick up the bag over his shoulder, "you know how to drive right?" Josh asks me, "yes, ofc." I nod and stare at the door which was blocked from the couch and some other table and stuff, it was about it break down soon. "I will run back to my house whereas I suggest you to take the car downright the apartment and drive as far as you can. We will meet again after the things settle down. Hmm?" Josh says.
I nod and a tear slip down my eyes. Josh come forward and wipe them, "just remember, if someone hold you without hurting. He/she will be the first one to be." Josh says softly and pulls me in a slight hug, "everything is gonna be alright, adeline."
I nod in his chest. Just some hours ago he revealed me that he was gay and right now I can't believe that my therapist can be my best friend.
Josh glance at the door and slowly whispered, "the door is about to break, it's time!"
We jumped out of the window and ran outright the apartment, walking as silently as we can. We reach the street and look around. It was empty and dark. Me and josh locked assuring eye contact and then look over the glass apartment. We saw killian still outside the apartment, trying to break in while...crying.
"Run away, adeline. Run as far as you can until you see the end but remember that the world is round." Josh mumbles.
More tears slip down my eyes. My dad said these lines.
I nod and quickly gave him a side hug and took over the bags from him, "bye, Josh. We will meet again when everything is settled." I whispered and gave him one last lingering glance before running to the car which was downright the street and Josh ran towards his bike which was on the other side of the apartment.
I got into my car and glanced one last time at Josh who was now not even on the sight distance but then my gaze landed back to the apartment and then I saw that killian was not on the door anymore and might have broken inside the house already. Shit!
I quickly turned on the engine of the car when suddenly killian lunched on the car closed window and mouthed the word, "open the door, adeline. You can't run away from me."
I shake my head and start driving at Batshit speed. My adrenaline was on a high rush. No no no no. Killian also got into his Mercedes and started chasing after me. I glanced at the rareview mirror again.
This situation is now turned into a car chase.

I get inside the house and close all the doors and windows behind me. No one knows about this location as it is in the middle of the forest and people rarely come here.
I have very dull memory about my parents death but since I got that dream yesterday, I haven't been able to sleep and also due to this shitty chase between me and my psychopath stalker. I still don't know about the reason why my parents were killed and what they were involved in but as much as I'm curious, I also want to stay away from trouble because.

I screech, "my daddy will punish you if you even lay your filthy hands on me!" I yelled, "will he punish me with his dead cold hands, adeline?" That man said in a low harsh voice. "Run away as far as you can adeline. This is the last chance that I'm giving you to live your childhood" the man continued, "I will come for you when you're 20 years old."
