Chapter One

Robbie's point of view

My name is McDowell. Robbie Martinez McDowell. I have I Mexican middle name but I am all American and white. I was born in Topeka Kansas as an older brother to my sister Meredith Haley McDowell. My fathers name is Bob and my mothers name is Julie.

I grew up in a nice home and a positive surrounding. We were a very normal family. What I had done though says other wise. Right now I am thirty four years old and sitting in a inclosed and dim lighted federal prison cell room. I was put here for love.

I fell in love with someone I shouldn't have and did stuff with her that's totally illegal. Her name was Riley Lindemann. Before I was put in here I worked for Mordecai high school as an ninety grade language arts teacher. I was fairly new there since I had only worked there one year before I was sent to prison the next. I came the year of 2011-2012 and stayed the next year 2012-2013. The year I met Riley.

She was a German trade student from the city of Berlin. She spoke very good English for a trade student. I had to admit it was very hard not to fall in love with her. Who wouldn't if you got to really know her and in which I had the pleaser of doing so. She was odd but amazing at the same time.

She was an amazing artist and very athletic but small in size which doesn't matter. She's loyal, trust worthy, calm, and truthful. She had wanted to be a police officer. I am afraid to say that she would never get her wish due to the fatal accident that had happened before I was put on trial. That was our last day of school.

I can't sum up the long and romantic story in one paragraph so here's the story. Enjoy a story of strong love that lead me to a life of living in prison and a sacrifice all to familiar on her part which would be her last.
