Minutes crawled like hours as I anxiously awaited the arrival of my friends. Restlessness gnawed at my insides, and I paced the hotel room, my mind swirling with a tumult of emotions. Then, a sharp knock on the door shattered the tense silence, and I hurried to answer it.
As I swung the door open, relief flooded through me at the sight of Aryan and Sam standing in the hallway. Without hesitation, they enveloped me in a tight hug, their concern palpable in the warmth of their embrace.
"Sanchu, are you alright?" Aryan's voice was laced with worry as he pulled away, his eyes searching mine for any sign of distress. Sam echoed his concern, his brow furrowed with worry as he studied my face. I nodded, grateful for their unwavering support. "Thanks, guys. I... I don't even know where to begin," I admitted, my voice trembling with emotion.
As we settled into the room, I recounted the events of the previous night to Aryan and Sam, from the chaos of the casino club to the shocking revelation of my impromptu marriage in Vegas. Their expressions shifted from disbelief to concern as they absorbed the gravity of the situation.
"How the hell did it happen? How did you get so damn drunk?" Aryan's voice tinged with disbelief. Sidhisha then began reciting her side of the story and Sam's jaw dropped in shock as he exchanged a bewildered glance with Aryan.
Before we could delve further into the conversation, there was another knock on the door, and Sidhisha hurried to answer it. As she swung the door open, "Hey, Siddhi baby! What took you so long? This breakfast is heavy," a girl spoke, her voice was cheerful, oblivious to the tension in the air.
This voice is too familiar. Damn, who is it?
Prisha and Yami entered inside carrying bags of Indian breakfast, unaware of the scene unfolding inside the room. As soon as Prisha and Yami saw the people sitting inside, their eyes widened in shock, "Sanchit? Aryan? Sam?" Prisha gasped, her voice barely above a whisper. Yami's jaw dropped in shock as he took in the sight of his friends standing before him.
Sam's eyes widened in disbelief as he took in Prisha's appearance, his mind struggling to process the unexpected reunion, "Prishi? What... What are you doing here?" he stammered, his voice tinged with disbelief.
