I hate that I love you (Katsuki x fem hero reader)

One on one fighting tournament

(Author here, I'll skip to the final round, where Bakugou and Y/N fight against each other. I hope you don't mind, but I just don't have the energy to write every round.)

"AND NOW THE GRAND FINALE. THE FEARLESS BADASS Y/N COMPETES AGAINST THE HOT-HEADED BAKUGOU KATSUKI. I WISH BOTH OF YOU GOOD LUCK" and after Present Mic says that, the battle starts between Y/N and Bakugou. Bakugou launches forward to catch Y/N, but she just doges and teleports away. The first minute nothing much happens, just Bakugou constantly launching toward Y/N and Y/N dodging. Bakugou then yells things like "WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO FUCKING FIGHT ME ALREADY?!" and "YOU SCARED OF ME OR WHY DO YOU KEEP DODGING?!" Y/N doesn't reply and just tries to stay away from him and Bakugou just gets angrier each time he doesn't land a hit on her. After about 3 minutes pass, Y/N wins against Bakugou and he has to be chained, because of his fury.

All Might then hands everyone their medal. Bakugou still is chained. When All Might got to Y/N he quietly says "Good job" and Y/N smiles a heartwarming smile. As on cue, Bakugou looks at Y/N and sees her smile and he calms down because of her smile.

After the tournament, Y/N walks out of the stadium, since she doesn't have any injuries, but all of a sudden, she hears a voice calling her name. It's none other than Bakugou. Y/N turns around and as she did, Bakugou starts saying "Just because you won today, doesn't mean that you're better than me and I will win against you in a fight, did you hear me?!" Y/N stays calm "You know Bakugou, you could be a great hero one day, you just need to learn how to keep your calm during a battle. I won't say that you have to change your whole personality or anything like that, but you have to concentrate while battling someone, otherwise your opponent has clearly an advantage." He just stands there and doesn't say a word until Y/N turns around to leave. "I will become stronger, so that I can beat you someday" he says. She turns around again to face him and smiles a bit "I can't wait" and with that she finally leaves. Bakugou keeps a small smile on his lips only to realize, that something is clearly wrong with him. He not only acts a bit different than usual, but also thinks things that he normally wouldn't think about, like how Y/N's smile was the sweetest or how her cheerleading outfit looked on her.

Y/N then got to her apartment after the festival to only work late again, because of hero work. She or rather Athena also wants to try to get a student from UA from the hero course for an internship. Even though she doesn't know, if she even could teach the student, because she might herself need an internship, because of her undercover mission as a *bodyguard* for the class 1A.
