As the Shadow loomed triumphantly above them, a glimmer of hope emerged from the darkness in the form of Shiro, Émilie's faithful companion. With determination, he darted towards the amulet, seizing it in his jaws with fierce resolve.

But as he touched the amulet, a radiant energy surged forth, enveloping Shiro in a whirlwind of dazzling light. When the brilliance subsided, Émilie and the other witches gazed in astonishment as a man stood in place of the small cat. His hair as black as night, his sparkling green eyes, and his pointed ears strangely resembled the feline form he had shed.

With a strength surpassing understanding, the cat-eared man plunged into battle against the Shadow, wielding powerful and ancient magic to repel the darkness threatening to engulf them. Émilie and the other witches, stunned by this miraculous transformation, rallied to his side, uniting their forces in a final desperate attempt to overthrow the Shadow that loomed over them.

The battle raged on, light and darkness clashing in an epic struggle for control of Liège's future. Despite the Shadow's immeasurable power, the witches fought with unwavering determination, refusing to yield to the threat looming over their world.

Finally, after a fierce struggle, the forces of the Shadow began to falter, unable to withstand the joint assault of the witches and Shiro. With a piercing cry, the Shadow recoiled, its shadowy form slowly dissipating into the air, leaving behind a sense of triumph and victory for the defenders of light.

Exhausted but victorious, Émilie and the other witches gathered, their hearts filled with gratitude towards Shiro, who returned to his natural form. Betty approached Shiro with astonishment, recognizing him as the cat that had belonged to her son Vincent. Émilie then asked her what her son's name was, and she replied "Simonon." Moved and puzzled, Émilie confessed to Betty that an echo from the past had revealed to her that she was the heiress of the Simonon family and thus, by association, of Betty's family. Émilie turned to Shiro and said, "I understand now that we were destined to meet. Thank you for everything." She hugged him gratefully.

As the daylight chased away the darkness of the night, a sense of peace and renewal settled over the city of Liège, as its inhabitants celebrated the defeat of the Shadow and the resurrection of hope.

And as the sun rose on a new day, Émilie knew that no matter what trials awaited them, she would never be alone, for she had found her family and discovered another among the witches. She also had by her side a faithful companion in Shiro, the cat who had changed the course of her destiny.

"Thank you Shiro, thank you for everything, my beloved cat."
