After reaching home, Emily parked her scooter in the garage and entered her house,

"So you're back now", Emily heard her mom say as she sighed and went to the living room,

"Why are you so late? Is everything fine?", her mom asked in a worried tone, yet while focusing on the book she held in her hand,

Emily just casually goes and hugs her mom sideways, "Mom, I'm so sorry to keep you waiting, I had some extra hour class and some lab assignments to finish",

"You don't even care to text or call me to inform me about it? You have no idea how worried I am about you, I even tried contacting Julia but her phone is unreachable, that made me worry more about you", her mom said complaining,

When Emily heard that Julia's phone was unreachable, she understood that Professor Sky still had not returned the phone, as he still thinks it was Emily's phone, he didn't even care to return it when he took the phone in the lab,

Julia couldn't go up and get the phone from Professor Sky herself, otherwise she'd get caught. Emily didn't care to ask about it either since it was Julia's phone,

"I think I should let him keep the phone, Julia should get a taste of how a problem feels like, however, she's rich enough to get a new phone so it doesn't really matter ", Emily thought to herself.

"Where are you lost?", her mom asked snapping Emily out of her thoughts,

"Oh, Mom I'm so sorry that you had to worry so much because of it, today was very busy day. I was so occupied by heavy schedule that I didn't have a thought about informing you, plus this is my final year so I'm spending more time in the lab and library, I didn't realize the time at all, I'll make sure not to repeat it again, forgive your daughter this time mom", she said while hugging and wiggling with her mom,

"If you really cared about me then you would have informed, but you didn't care so I guess you don't love me anymore", her mom said in a low voice while looking down,

"Mom!! Why would you say that, that's so dramatic!!! stop with that act you're stressing me out", she said as she looked at her mom making a sad face,

"Now you understand the feeling? that's how stressed I get when I'm not sure if you're doing fine where ever you are, what ever happens just call me or text me so that I wouldn't need to overthink situations, you're my only family sweetheart, I need to be sure that you're safe where ever you are, don't you understand that?", Emily heard her mom say deep words,

Emily sighed, "I do understand mom, you're my only family too and I love you so much, I won't repeat it anymore but don't stress me out with those dramatic lines again",

"I'll continue to be dramatic as long as you become responsible enough to care properly for me and yourself", her mom said while looking at Emily,

"I knew you won't give up that easily", Emily chuckled,

"Well anyway, one of your students just visited, you haven't gone to tutor him today", her mom said while turning the page of a book,

"Oh! I almost forgot about it!!! My bad", Emily said in a disappointing tone,

"Go get freshen up, change your outfit, eat something and then go out now", her mom said

"Fine..", Emily said rushing to her room.

Sky Jackson was on his motorbike, he had many thoughts about everything that had happened,
